            I make what we call Eggy Bread and I think is actually French Toast or Cowboy Toast in mine. You only need to mist the plates with spray oil, so it's a lower fat method than a frying pan.0

            Well after reading this thread last week I dug my old breville sandwich maker out of the back of it's cupboard.
 I bought a Tesco Value cake mix for 22p and tried it out.
 To my surprise it worked really well and only took 4 minutes to cook.
 Thanks for another great idea MSE'rs!!0
