No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries October 2013

The universe wanted to prove me wrong... 3 UUs!
33. Boots Cucumber Cleansing Wipes - WBA if I needed wipes, these are nice and cheap and don't dry your skin, but I'm not using them tons so would only buy in certain situations (stage make up, etc)
34. Yves Rocher Raspberry Body Lotion 50ml - WMBA, liked the scent a lot and the texture was pretty good for a lotion, but I don't think you can buy this brand in shops, and I'm not sure I would be bothered to order it!
35. L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (Date Bouquet) 30ml - WBA, but not in this scent, which was not nice. I love the formulation though! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -

20. Figs and Leaves Soap, 176g - I love this scent so much (Dorothy and Pumkin), and just discovered it came in a soap!!
21. Lord of Misrule bath bomb - wanted to get hold of one of these before the end of the Halloween period
Hooray! Figs and leaves is lovely and for those that like SLS free stuff...well, this is SLS free!
Aaaaand LOMisR is staying until the end of winter so you will have time to get another one if you love it which I do!Don't turn a slip up into a give up

A couple of make-up OUTs
9 - TA Bourjois blanc diaphane eyeshaddow - a pearlised white that I've had for years, I think at least 5! There is still a lot left but it's so pearly that it really isn't my thing anymore. I have a much more neutral shade for highlighting already in the stash of course.
10 - TA Elf radiance enhancer in a copper colour - too dark for me (I'm quite pale Irish Norweigan stock) I'll stick with my sunbeam.Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

I also got some flaxseed tablets and some olbas oil but won't be counting these. I love olbas oil for winter stuffy nose and the flaxseeds were recommended on here by luvlycake I think so I'm going to give them a whirl
I hope they work for you, I'm sure they will. :jCookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

Poor you!
Having said that, watch out of those mattress toppers as well. It really is a case of horses for courses. My mum has a bad back and she finds it makes such a difference she will probably insist on her eventual coffin being layered with the stuff for her to get her eternal rest (when the time comes) as she refuses to be without it, but it played havoc with my dad's hips when they got one. I can't bl**dy stand it, either - doesn't agree with me at all.
Is the mattress over 10 years old? Would he be up for changing it?
I hope you find a solution.
No chance of that! I rent, and my landlord just does not believe in spending any money! My house mate complained about his when he first moved in, and still had no new mattress 3 years later!A 500ml bottle lasts you two months? It would last me a week! :rotfl:
Just about, I did go on holiday for 2 weeks in the middle though! Do you use a sponge/loofah? I think a loofah makes any shower gel last twice as long!0 -
i have an IN from a mag subscription gift:
Trilogy Rosehip oil Antioxidant plus (was also supposed to contain a moisturiser too so ive sent them an angry email asking why I've only got half!)0 -

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Thanks everyone re the mattress debate, I don't think it is the mattress, it's a fairly new memory foam one. My back is not too bad just now, I haven't been at his the last couple of days, but I think there's a whole lot of other factors, eg when I stay at his I carry my bike up and down the stairs to his flat and I can feel there is always a pull to one side when I do this. I can't work out another way to carry it and there's no where else to leave it.
I've been wearing magnetic patches on a wrap on my back at night when I'm in so maybe that is helping also. Who knows
Been off today and tidying up, although have a far bigger muddle than before. I did through out lots of old stuff that had gone or was looking dodgy:eek: I put a couple of lotions into the tub I use for my feet cream, several tinted moisturisers, day cream and body lotions, looks like angel delight :rotfl:but smells. Not in a rush to put that on my feet!!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Glad you are feeling slightly better Asset.
Welcome Choccomonster (your name made me smile as my DD is a true chocolate monster.)
