Nope, Hargreaves Landsdown sent me an e-mail confirming that everyone gets 227 shares at a cost of £749.10, however anyone applying for more than £10,000 get nada.

I originally hoped to use £12,000 in my ISA to apply for Royal Mail shares, luckily the slow fund transfer procedures involved with ISAs ruled that option out, so I applied for £7,000 worth from my current account instead.
So I'm not happy that I only get just over one tenth of what I applied for.......but then again I could have ended up with Nada!:o

I can trade via my broker (Hargreaves Landsdown) as early as tommorow, in your experience do you recommend waiting for the official flotation on the 15th or selling them before the 15th?

so I used the royal mail service on their site to buy the shares (no stock broker or intermediary) and was told the money came out of my account for £1500.

Does anyone know when I will get confirmation of how many shares I will get and when I will get a refund if I only get £750 of shares

I believe you get officially informed on the date of official flotation the 15th, not sure about the refund but expect it will be a matter of days rather than weeks.

Applied through HL but will only get £750. What a waste of my time. Feel absolutely conned.

The Conservatives are still allocating millions of pounds worth of shares to a Singapore fund, What have they contributed the United Kingdom?

They shall pay at the ballot box.

My main concern is I miss typed the wrong number in the address, I bought through the gov website, what can I do to get this changed ?

They will always get in. Most of the UK is populated my drones that always vote in the same politicians like any other country. Conservatives, libs, Labour, all the same !!!! in different packages. Always be fearful of any human who believes politicians have some sort of credibility in the UK. Uk is just a miserable place in general.


Is the conditional market tomorrow safe to buy in? HL warned me not to trust it as much as a conditional market.

I was one of the 100,000s who got nothing because I wasnt a city/singapore fund.

I think Vince Cable is the guy in charge of the allocation, he said on Ch4 news he wasn't interested in "Spivs" & "Speculators" but long term investors.
