(Not really, obviously)
Unable to do this, card must be registered to the address
Looks like I might have to right my money off, getting very worried, will the refund for wanting more than the minimum simply be refunded to the card or will it go by cheque ?0 -

Refunded to card in all likelihood. Would certainly make sense. Although the statement I posted above says "sent out"...
Not sure about when you sell though, that might be cheque.0 -
Surely they are going to refund those that paid by debit card, back to their debit card. Messing around with cheques would be archaic and prone to all sorts of issues. I don't trust our postie for a start....0

Good for Royal Mail profits though! (Unless they're sent out using a competitor of course)0 -
Agreed, a run of cheques to 600,000 people could conceivably cost around £500,000, surely a simple refund to Debit card would be the easiest thing to do. Given some people have £9250 outstanding it would be nice to get clarification.
Also any ideas about selling stock via the Government website? Would be get paid via cheque or Bank transfer?0 -
Okay show of hands, who thinks it better to hold on to the 227 shares
and earn dividends or is it better to sell just to gain about £150?
I was going to sell, but now I'm not sure.0 -

From the Halifax;
A refund of any unused cash will be made on 11 October.
If that is their Halifax (I don't have a Halifax) I might get it back next week sometime then, which will be fine....
NOPE Just seen the note above, they aren't starting to return anyone's money till 21st October. Someone (not us) is going to make a fortune just on the unallocated payments!0
