....was expecting to receive my share certificates. Well, I haven't, I must have done something wrong but have no idea what!! I am not interested in selling just yet, but would like my share certificate.
Please could someone help?
It looks like you didn't ask for a certificate and got the default which was electronically held shares.
See here how to get a certificate:

Oh dear, I just knew it wouldn't be that easy lol......any idea of how much? PLEASE don't say £50When man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0

They have different charges for different shares.
Easiest to ask them.
But why do you want a cert? They "look after" it for you without charge.0 -
Hi Quentin, Thanks again.... I am not sure why I want the certificate really lol I want to keep the shares for the moment, and thought it better for me to have the cert. I also read (I think) that Equiniti charge a lot of money when you want to sell?
This will teach me not to mess with shares when I don't have a clue!!

Apologies if this has already been answered (have done a search)
I opted to receive the share certificate and not wanting to be stung by the £50 to sell through Equiniti I've registered an x-o account to transfer my shares over. I've printed the CREST transfer form that it tells me to fill in and send off with my Royal Mail share certificate.
However, nowhere can I see on the form my x-o account details, so how do they know what account to transfer them into?0 -
Two questions.
1) If shares (held in paper certificate) are transferred to another person (non-spouse) using a Transfer Form, is a gain crystallised for CGT purposes at the time of transfer? i.e. is it in effect a sale by the transferor to the transferee?
2) When will the ex-dividend or record date be published for final and/or interim dividends.0
