Hi all
Ive opened up an x-o account and got the Crest form ready to go
What Im looking for is some advise on how x-o works?
Can I set up a marker to sell at a certain price - will they actually sell at that price or is there some sort of delay?
What is a 3 day settlement - is that something I should know about?
Is there any charge to get the funds out of the x-o account and into my bank account - I cant seem to see anything under their charges section
Thanks for any info0 -
I think the 3 days is the time it take for you to get the funds, but not sure to be honest.
There is a 5.95 charge for trading, I am not aware of any charges to get bacs transaction done though.
Maybe someone who has already used XO can answer, I am still waiting until my shares are registered in the nominee account.Hi all

Having traded today, I received the following email shortly thereafter...
"The funds will be sent to your nominated bank account upon settlement of your final trade, dated 25/10/13. Please note the funds will be sent via BACS transfer which takes three working days to clear into your bank account."
The 3 day settlement seems to be the minimum "delay" between actually trading and finalising the transaction.
Afraid I have no idea about setting a marker as Tododo enquired about, but I can say that there is no charge for getting your money out of x-o, just send an email requesting that moneys be paid into your bank account.0 -
but does that mean you get the rate at the time you sold or what it is 3 days later Hawkeye?HawkeyeTheGnu wrote: »Having traded today, I received the following email shortly thereafter...

Very definitely the rate at which you sold.
Imagine it as taking 3 days to complete the paperwork.0 -
