Thanks for the prompt, Pearl...just checked, and details were on X-O.

I had last checked at 12, but really didn`t expect it all to be completed till later in the week. Anyways, have just sold at 4.91 point summat.

And thanks to McScoty for dealing with the many issues some people were struggling with, over the last week or so!

Could you tell me when you sent the cert to them please?

........does anyone know why the Royal Mail share price is not listed in the papers, not even in the Recent Issues section?

    You are mistaken.

Telegraph have it in the paper every day.

Look it up in the transport shares section.
  • Thank you Hawkeyethegnu :-)

I am glad I might have helped some people, as others have helped me. Thats what this forum is all about after all :-)

  • 2010....I sent the certificate on Friday

But Royal Mail tracker said no-one there to accept it on Saturday, so was delivered early Monday morning.

I sold at £4.87, as it looked as if the prices might be going down. Profit of 346.52, which is good enough for me.

A big thanks to the people on the latter part of this tread who were particularity helpful. Thank you.

My wife just phoned Equiniti and they have confirmed that our certificates, posted on Saturday, have been received and sold at £4.89.
  • Excellent well done Gevans, you can go on your travels with some more beer money hopefully :-)

  • For those who have transferred their shares to X-O. Once your shares have been accepted how do you know they have been from their console?

I send my cert back to sell yesterday. I used recorded delivery and it arrived today (i checked via the tracker).

I suppose it's just luck of that draw in terms of what price they sold at today? They fluctuated a fair bit today.

How long is my cheque likely to take?
  • McScoty...they were listed under Portfolio, no e-mail was received.
