Called them, apparently they were only sent out TODAY as there has been a "delay". He stated that there was 10's of thousands of cheques going out to which I replied "that's 10's of millions of pounds gaining interest".

Will be phoning back this afternoon to have my commission returned as frankly this is not good enough.

Thanks for the update, a real pain for me as working away for the rest of the week so will not be able to pay in the cheque until next Monday..... then just 5 working days for the cheque to clear..
  • I thought you had sent yours of to X-O pearl123?

Have you manged to sell them already via X-O or did you just decide to sell another way?

    Good for you anway.

I sold at £4.87, as it looked as if the prices might be going down. Profit of 346.52, which is good enough for me.

A big thanks to the people on the latter part of this tread who were particularity helpful. Thank you.

We won't be seeing our cheques until we get back in December.

Sold via x-o. They upload the details from the certificate quickly.
I decided not to wait until the share went over £5.00 again.
    Thanks for all your help.
  • Thanks for getting back to me :-)

X-O have got my cert today, do they email you to let you know cert has been accepted, or did you just log in?

I kept on logging in every couple of hours to see if it was there. I received no email to say it had been uploaded, but I did appear to get some advertising from them at the sometime the detail went on the system. It took the a day and a half for them to upload the certificate.
Wishing you good luck - I suspect the share prices will continue to do well.
  • Thanks Pearl :-)

Just one last Q. The profit you made doesn't add up to the rate you sold for, is that because you were taking their fee and postage of the cert into account in that?

Glad you did well out of it. Will you do it again?

  • As a holder rather than a seller (would buy more if they ever come down below £4.30 which looks unlikely) does anyone know why the Royal Mail share price is not listed in the papers, not even in the Recent Issues section?

Don`t know why but the quickest way to find the current share price is to google RMG SHARE PRICE and it will give your the upto the minute price.
  • Thanks for the prompt, Pearl...just checked, and details were on X-O.

I had last checked at 12, but really didn`t expect it all to be completed till later in the week. Anyways, have just sold at 4.91 point summat.

And thanks to McScoty for dealing with the many issues some people were struggling with, over the last week or so!
