Good question Sharp.
I would have thougth like you that it should be 0.01
What did the others who have done this put?Got the x-o crest form almost filled in,
What do you put in the "Description of Security" section?
On the x-o help it says: Security Description (i.e. ORD GBP1 or ORD USD0.10);
So, as they are ordinary 1p each, do you put ORD GBP0.01 or what?0 -
GPB 01 is what I put. Hope it is right as it has gone off in the post.0

I would have thought "Ordinary Shares", exactly as on the certificate.0 -
Ordinary shares of 1p, is what should have been put on the crest form.0

Well hopefully it doens't matter if it is exact. 0.01p, 01, 1p etc all amount to the same thing so hopefully it does't matter.
I am putting Ord GBP 0.01p and hopefully that is fine, it is what it says on the cert.GPB 01 is what I put. Hope it is right as it has gone off in the post.0 -

I'm tempted to sell with equiniti because I am a student renting a new house, and no online broker seems content to accept that I am who I say I am without proof of ID & address - all of which takes time and costs money in postage.
Just wanted to double-check before I do so that you can't sell share certificates in bank branches etc? I was always under the impression that you could sell him through other mediums than an online broker...0 -
Hadders,
Not sure if you can opt to sell the shares by the postal option, this will reduce your fee but you have no control over the rate you get, but doing this option means they will send you a cheque so I think you can avoid money laundering issues this way.
Alternatively you could also sell online via equiniti, but bear in mind you will get charged a 45 fee, however at least you know what rate you are selling at.I'm tempted to sell with equiniti because I am a student renting a new house, and no online broker seems content to accept that I am who I say I am without proof of ID & address - all of which takes time and costs money in postage.

Those who missed out on 10/15k may well enter the market Tuesday next week, when prices may start to climb again. The Stock Market is a gamble, don't invest if you cant afford to lose.

Looks like the little man did sell off cheaply, now hitting £5+ per share, will it hit £6, who knows?
I'm still sitting tight, its the most fun I've had this year!
