Good finish. Roll on 500.:rotfl:0

Online account, I wanted to be 100% sure of what price I was getting.
Did those who used the automated service even know what price they got yet or are they going to have to wait to see what's written on the cheque when they (eventually) get it through the post?
That's why I was asking. My shares have been sold but had no idea at what price!
Just ended up phoning them up and they were able to tell me over the phone.0 -

Mart.
In this day and age it is unacceptable to have to wait 2 days for electronic mail that takes milliseconds to transfer over the internet. The government knew on Friday how many shares were being allocated, so if this was managed properly then emails could have started going out as soon as this announcment was made. 2 days for an email? they would be quicker posting it!!!Why are you continuing to say the same things? It was made clear at the outset, and has been mentioned in response to your earlier messages several times, that emails could take 2 days.0 -

Well, I think the public were shafted tbh. Over 10k you get binned, under £10k you get a paltry £750 worth.
In my head a see it as a top-hatted 'gent' tipping a ha'penny to a street urchin...
Agreed. I can say that as I didn't apply for much more than twice what i got, and personally i am intending to hold, so I don't have a lot to lose here, but I don't like the way this is being handled, and particularly I don't like the way people have been led into handing over large sums of money which they then have to wait some time to have returned, while never benefiting from the investment offered.0 -
Got out at £4.88.
Happy with that...I'm not greedy, and £340 profit after charges is good enough for me.0 -
I know it sounds counter-intuitive but I am pretty sure that - as a rule - shares tend to underperform once they enter the FTSE 100 not the other way round as you might expect.

Sunil
Could you expand more on that? I'm not saying your wrong or trying to be argumentative, just genuinely curious as to how shares new to the 100 could actually go down?0 -
Yes refunds should have happend much quicker, especially if you got nothing for it. If anyone else did this, it would be regarded as a scam!Agreed. Still waiting. I was quite optimistic yesterday evening that the email would arrive on time.
It's interesting to see how the prices have climbed. I hoping they hold out, as I don't earn a lot and a bonus would be nice.0
