  • Perhaps they will, perhaps they won't but they ARE worth more now!

At £10k worth every penny dropped is a significant loss.

Price rising again. Went down to 475p over lunch but now heading back to 485p.

I don't think I would have the nerve to be a day trader. Watching prices must drive you nuts.

First time I've ever tried it...

But it was an easy pattern to spot. Which is why I didn't particularly want to leave it to the whims of telephone dealing.

Carcuscrae has basically saved the day for me...and it's a decision now whether to sell them tonight or first thing in the morning.

I applied for a hard copy certificate and have just received
my 11 digit share holder ref#.
In the email it suggests people who went this route can still sell now by telephone.

If you are worried about 1p drops in a £10k investment you have invested beyond your risk profile.

Maybe her shares will be worth more by then.

    Absolutely right.

Seriously, I think people should try to calm down a bit. The reason that the price has gone up again today (albeit by a smaller amount) is that despite all the smaller investors rushing to the payout counter at the bookies at the same time, a lot of bigger investors and funds are continuing to look at the form and make a balanced judgment. This should tell you something.

If people say "But I need the cash now", I can't have any sympathy. You don't buy shares with any guarantees about the price on any particular day and time. Buying RM shares was a crazy thing to do if you needed to resell at a big profit within days of privatisation. Total madness.

is it possible to take equiniti to the small claims court over the fiasco they have created with the share emails not being delivered fairly to all investors. Some who have recieved the email were able to deal, others like me can't do anything until the email comes through, an by that time the shares may be significantly less valuable that they were to others.

No, because it clearly stated in the prospectus, which you agreed to when purchasing the shares, that they had until 2 days after the shares opening to send you the details

You need a fair bit of capital to trade CFDs :)
  • Who else is waiting on the email? I'm close to giving up hope for today, and praying for it to start strong tomorrow morning...
  • Yep I am still waiting!!! starting to wonder, its not the share offer number I should be using? Pretty sure it isn't ,but just asking in case I am being a plonker?
