I am hoping they take a big dip at some point, so that I can buy more,
there still seems an awful lot of buyers out there trying to get as many shares as they can regardless of price.
I knew there was a good chance the price might have risen today, but I never thought that the price would be steady as a rock all day.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I sure would have not minded the extra £50 if I had waited to sell today.0 -
I bought my shares via the government website (or at least I think I did, given that all I got was a paltry email telling me they had taken my £5,000 off me and sod all information since).
But please can someone tell me exactly *how* I can sell tomorrow these shares that I presume I now own?
I don't see any dealing section on the government website and I find it hard to believe one will just miraculously appear before 8:00 tomrrow. And how do I prove to anyone that I actually own any shares?
I would have expected as a bare minimum an email from the share offer people saying "OK you have been allocated 227 shares and here's your login details." But I have received no such info.
I am puzzled.0 -
When can you sell if you went for the share

The Government is using the broker Equiniti to deal with the Royal Mail shares.
equiniti.com
Contact them on 0871 384 2030 to check your details.
Taken from the Govt website:
"You will also be able to buy and sell Royal Mail shares through Equiniti’s online, telephone and postal dealing services. You will find the Terms and Conditions of the Royal Mail Nominee Share Service, and more information on Equiniti’s share dealing services, in the Prospectus."0 -

Amazing shambles, no email.0

Only thing is, you won't be able to speak to anyone until tomorrow at least 30mins after the market has opened ...& if emails haven't been sent, good luck getting through on that number.
Quite!
The other thing is,
"You will also be able to buy and sell Royal Mail shares through Equiniti’s online, telephone and postal dealing services. You will find the Terms and Conditions of the Royal Mail Nominee Share Service, and more information on Equiniti’s share dealing services, in the Prospectus."
I note the word "also". So what's the alternative, the prime method, if Equiniti is an also?0 -

It's amazing to think these are the same people that are running the country.0
