Presumably you wanted a quick profit - which you got. The shares could just as easily been down today and you would be grateful you sold.
Share price could plunge in the morning although I suspect its unlikely.
Yeah but the difference today is that the prices have remained steadily high all day.......unlike Friday when the price was rising & dipping.
If you look at today's graphs then you could have sold any time with very little risk that you would get less than £4.60.
Friday's graph suggested if the price went above £4.50 then you should jump on it quick.0 -
Hey I wasn't alone in that assumption, where were you Ologhai on Friday letting us all know that we shouldn't be tempted to sell at Friday's prices?
I assume you "knew" prices would be better today.
Where was I? I was here on Friday!
But I couldn't possibly have advised you not to sell, because I had (and have) no idea what the best course of action is.
I just notice from time to time that some people will say something like you did ('Friday's graph suggested if the price went above £4.50 then you should jump on it quick') as if that's the only possible way to feel or behave under a given circumstance. Clearly not everyone felt the same way, or the price would've closed lower on Friday. Much lower.0 -

Any update on XO still have log in problems just tried.
I phoned them earlier and they said they are working on a fix.
I did manage to fully login just after lunch, but its not working again now!
I ended up selling over the phone, same £5.95 fee (well, apart from 9p per min phone call!)0 -

The market is only worth what is already priced in.. Something that hasn't yet been discounted by the market can have a big effect on stock prices. If the US defaults on its debt the RM shares will get wiped along with everyone else. Might not even happen but if it does it could be a great buying opportunity - or the shares could fall again. Anything can happen during big market moving events.^^hopefully it wont effect it too much, the US thing has been kicking on since before the price was announced.
That's why I said the US thing started before the price was announced, you can be sure the market had one eye on the US situation(incl. potential outcomes) when the price was announced & during subsequent trading.
The US situation could even help the RMG price, as US investors look to shift their money onto a different market & a more predictable stock ...is there anything better than RM shares atm?
I guess we'll have to wait n see.
PS
Still no nominee email with selling details for tomorrow.0
