Thanks, which edition did I install then? The only thingies I have noticed so far s that it hasn't got net intelligence which I don't want anyway. Oh and Microsoft office but I have wrote the key number down for that.

You installed Windows 7 Home Premium SP1-U ISO (Refresh) 32bit

This is why it is important that people should always quote the full model number when requesting assistance. So that the machine can be identified properly.

Anyway, we can fix that later.

    Have you activated the OS?

If you didn't get confirmation, then you didn't follow the instructions properly and your system is not activated.

You'll need to do it again and this time, follow the instructions to the letter.

on a computer running Microsoft windows non-core edition run 'suli.exe ox2a to display the error text
    error oxbba

just tried again and got confirmation on the first set of letters but nothing happens when I enter the second lot

So, now you are activated. :)

Have a meeting. Back later. :)

Install a basic antivirus solution for now. 32 bit. No need to join any suggested monitoring program during the install.
