There is always the option for a Custom installation, you just missed it.



Having more RAM also helps the thing to start faster and allows you to do more at the same time without waiting for an age for things to happen.
In this case as you already have a licence for Window 7 Professional, it's no problem for me to fix it.

How are we doing with Windows Update/Microsoft Update as above.
Once you've done that updates for Office and Drivers should start to come through.

all done and successful have pm'd you details and also done another 14 updates

no i don't think so mainly Microsoft office and windows 7 only driver i could see was for framework

Have you clicked on Check for Updates?
Any question marks in the Device Manager?
