Grrrrr just double checked the spreadsheet and I've overspent on the food budget
However, we only need bread and milk top ups to keep us going until payday next Friday.

Thanks for all the support. I felt so gutted when I saw my bank as I have been trying so hard. I am quite a bad person for competing with myself and am quite an over-achiever so hate it when I don't think I have done well. So thank you.
Today has been a work day which means a spend free day and a work lunch day. So that is 11/20 and 8/13. I think I might succeed at this.
Also, I made some more biscuits today. Recipe states 16 but I can manage to make 32 with the mixture.
Hope everyone is having a great evening.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Well done CR - you're on a mission!
Sfd yesterday and I'm still undecided about tonight, my phone bill came in less than expected as I forgot I'd reduced it so in total i'm now £60 up on what i thought i would be by now but I still don't want to part with it for a non weight friendly curry. I'll decide last minute.
Have a fun day everyone0 -
Morning!
Well Igot the boots I wanted and thanks to pay pal funds I only paid £37 for them so yesterday was a spendy day. So will have warm, comfy feet on the school run!
Only 3 days this month have been spendy days so not doing so bad really.
Today I have to exchange some tea bags for squash or cereal as DH bought them when we didn't need them!
Planning to list some more ebay items today to recoup some costs of the boots!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -
This month is a mixed bag so far. Lunches (13/21) and SFDs (12/20) are on target (incl. today). I still have £60 in my food budget (on paper) but went £40 over my HH and extras budget and my contingency is used. So I have theoretically (and practically in my bank account) £20 in my name for the rest of this month. Better get creative, I will try really hard not to touch any other money. The new Aldi opens at the end of next week, if I can stretch what we have (cupboard stock take on the weekend) and only buy milk and some fruit (bake bread) I might get some cheap stuff there to try and tie us over till payday.
But we also got a child birthday the last weekend and DS still needs a costume and present. Mmmmhhh......
Tonights tea will be cajun breaded fish with sweet potato and ??.
Just earned enough points for another £10 amazon voucher but they are currently out of stock, so I need to wait to redeem.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Morning all... I have pushed through this morning without any energy fizz drinks. I am feeling rather proud of myself. I am however struggling not to eat that big tub of guacamole I made with my carrot sticks.... gotta get through it..
I need to work. Or I will get sacked. Then I will never get to travel. More later...
I don't hate anyone by the way, checkin or not I am glad you are all still hanging on...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. It's all part of the challenge to have spend days and NSD and it wouldn't be a challenge if it was easy.
We have to keep in mind why we're doing this and not to get too stressed about having to spend some brass for that extra milk.
We all get good days and bad days so just keep chipping away at it.
There's still 14 days left in October so keep checking what food you have in and what meals you can make from that.
If I get the urge to go out and spend, I start doing a bit of de-cluttering and checking to see if there's any ways of earning a bit more dosh.
I like doing mystery shopping and it gets me out to have a look round and also earn a few pounds.

Thanks Kitty, I needed this this morning. I have not been doing well with SFDs this month. I'm only on 7, so not hopeful to make the target. I know if I have all SFDs for the rest of the month I could do it, but I have BF's birthday to celebrate on the weekend, so not likely.
I also know it's mostly down to car issues at the beginning of the month throwing out my plans and forcing my hand on some spends.
SO it's OK, October has been tougher than I thought . . . And September went so well, I'm just a little disapointed.
Anyway, back to business: I had a spendy day yesterday, dry cleaning and birthday presents bought. SFD today.Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150
