    they could also run it across the side of the wall as its a terraced house with a raised wall and a chimney along one side of the roof

    You may expect that but they do throw it over and secure it either side. They are reluctant to walk over the roof on safety grounds.

    I think the best soultion would be to drop it to first floor level,drill through wall the 1st floor floorspace and route it underfloor to tv point.
    Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
