I know exactly what you mean , I feel the same too with all the uncertainty and I also think that at least its one thing I can have some sort of control over whilst everything else going on around us is really out of our control.
That will be very exciting to actually see that number starting with a one ,you have done so well coming down from 245

    You are so right southcoast!
Ive read your diary up to date this morning, so sorry to hear about your pending redundancy..
Im awaiting to hear if im in the same boat- pretty sure i will be tbh.. but the waiting is torture, i cant plan anything.. As ive worked for the company over 11 years i will get enough to cover a few months salary, but spending savings that are so hard to build is awful, but i suppose  we are so lucky we have an emergency fund to fall back on.. :)

    Thank you x

I'm definitely glad of my savings in the bank right now, even if I did go about getting them in a quirky way! Fingers crossed you get a decision soon either way

    Well another wet day! :/
Looks like house work day, might as well get it done while the rain is here, hopefully the weekend will be half decent, if it rains only half a day i can get out on the prince for a ride out in the lovely countryside  :)
Another vet visit today- my old spaniel keeps going over on her front leg, due to arthiritis.. i dont want her suffering. she is already on strong painkillers all the time, but seems to have gone back to the legs giving way..
Also, he is coming to look at the prince, who has a hacking cough and other allergy like symptoms, have to see what he is given for that! animals are expensive- good job we love em  :disappointed:
Hopefully next week we will see animals in better health, and some better weather  :)
nothing to report on overpayments, as i wiped out all spare cash, including my personal spends, to make the £249.62 payment to bring the mortgage to an even number the other day  , it was worth it  :)

    Good morning everyone.. :)
We have had an unproductive morning trying to get the sheep into a borrowed trailer  :open_mouth:
A new neighbour has kindly offered a lovely field full of grass to use for a few months, but we have to get the little gits to get in the trailer to take them to it.. attempt number 2 will be at feed time this afternoon.. rest of week will be a no no as the neighbour is having concrete laid tommorow, so after today it will be saturday before we can take them.. if only they knew what they were missing  :)

oh, update on the princes vet visit- he just has a mild allergy, which after the visit hasnt arisen , probably due to the constant rain  :|
doggy is on a course of steroids to see if that helps her front legs with the arthiritis.. but yesterday she decided to walk straight in front of the prince as he headed for his food, and managed to get her back paw stood on, so now she has one good leg out of four.. poor lass.
