To be honest the redundancy fades to nothing in my mind at the moment , cant stop crying and missing her.. Thanks everyone. i feel like my head cant process everything at the moment..
Work have created a job role out of two peoples jobs who are facing redundancy, with loads of other bits added on, and are inviting the 5 people including me to apply for it.. they wont say pay or hours , what a farce.. because of everything thats going off ive just e.mailed HR to confirm i would like to be considered for it subject to hours and pay, but no doubt pay will be crap, as well as the mountain of work involved.. my gut instinct is to take redundancy, look for a job to tick me over till spring, and try for my cafe/ cabin here that i keep thinking about doing.
Im sure some training courses may be available for people who have been made redundant, i thought maybe try for some catering training, and also see if any grants available for new small businesses maybe.. lets see, by the end of july i will either have the crappy new job role- which ive a sneaking suspicion they will already have someone lined up for- or my redundancy payout- which i will add to our emergency fund to pay me a little monthly wage, and plan to start my catering enterprise spring 2021.
one thing losing family does it remind you life is short- and to get on and enjoy it

the weekend is here again.. feeling a little better, trying to bring some normality back to my life after the last few weeks..
Another twist in my world, work have now sent out another e.mail stating they have realised the one role they are offering carries too much work for one person, so now they are 2 roles- the other one is basically the job i was doing, with extra admin added, but the hours and pay are exactly what i need- ive applied of course, now a nail biting week to see if i get it- everything crossed!!
ive been making overpayments from account tidies/grocery and fuel savings, managed £100 in total now, so im down to £199,900
