pay day  :) got nice surprise of £180 loyalty bonus which we get annually , but thought we wouldnt get this year.. and £491 furlough back pay? after tax etc we are  able to make an additional overpayment of £330 to the mortgage, and £260 to the loan, so i can safely say ive smashed my overpayment target for july  :)
    Mortgage balance now £199,550  :)
will add totals for july next friday after the last account tidy of the month along with the last overpayment ..
Fingers crossed on good  job news before the weekend  :)

got letter and e.mail from work, i have an interview, along with the other 4 i believe contenders for my job on tuesday at 11am.... tbh i just want to know either way now so i can plan, it would be great not to be out of a job, but if i am theres plenty of others in the same boat, ive got my health, and a decent emergency fund.. i count myself as lucky whatever the outcome..
We have downgraded husbands car, he bought a newish large pickup style one just before he got the new job last year. He has done less than 4000 since, and its a pain for parking etc as its so long so i dont use it. Son wanted it, so i swapped it for his small 4x4 which is ideal for me for work/getting horse feed etc in the back, and he gave us £5000, so thats been added to the p.bonds/emergency fund too. :)
