What a hot few days!
Ive been busy planning for my future.. after much deliberation, ive decided to try working for myself in the catering industry. We are alongside the transpennine trail in a quite remote area frequently passed by walkers cyclists etc, so imgoing to give it a go and buy a small catering trailer selling hot and cold drinks, snacks and hot and cold sandwiches.
We are in the peak park and are a popular tourist area, so i figured i may as well try and harness this to our use
i have loads to do yet, im doing training, looking into grants, registering, buying equipment, its scary.. i have someone from a free business advice centre calling me tommorow so im hoping they can give me some good advice too.
Im planning a task at least a day towards my goal. Yesterday was setting up my account /card with a great cash and carry, today i bought my online training course, and completed the first 2 modules.
i want to be able to make a decent living wage, i know it wont be easy to start, but if i never give it a try i will never know.. this redundancy may be the start of my new life as a small business owner.. fingers crossed
