another murky /wet morning here. Had an early trip to tesco this morning to get pizzas/desserts/pop/beers etc as its my sons birthday on sunday- cant believe he is 30!! and w eare visiting for a tea party as no chance of taking him out for a family meal.. i ive ordered him a fancy cake which is arriving today, and as he couldnt think of anything he wanted we have given him cash, and a little gift so he has something to open..
Today im doing the housework so the weekend is freed up for family visits, and maybe i can squeeze in a ride on the prince too..
ive done the meal plan for the next two weeks, so again next week just bit of cleaning stuff/milk and bread/fruit should be all that is needed, so hopefully a little extra to the overpayment savings  :)
Hubby is on holiday from work next week, so i will be labouring on the cement mixer while he builds stone walls, hopefully the weather will be kind to us  :)

Windy here today.. hubby is trying to get his head round the new CCTV system he is fitting. Im so lucky he is handy- he saves us a fortune!
Ive done mucking out/poo picking duty ,and spent a while on weeding duty- an endless task at the moment. Ive set myself a target of a barrow load a day until all the section that is over run is cleared- hopefully will get this done by next weekend if i stick to it  :)
Im still awaiting contact from work to let me know when/if i have a job to go back to. I dont particularly enjoy my job tbh, theres a lot of bitchiness and stress, But at the moment looking for a new job would be difficult, so im hoping im not made redundant. its the waiting to find out thats the stressful thing, once i know either way i can make a plan! ive worked out what redundancy pay i should get, and with emergency fund we will be ok for quite a while if it takes some time to get a new income coming in, but id prefer not to have to use the emergency fund, though im really glad we have it!!
my overpayments this month have gone over £300!! so glad i restarted making them, a positive step.. :)

    Thanks fortune, so do i!
Had another good week on the grocery shopping/meal planning - managed to save loads, went to a company shop with a friend who has a card, and got a lot of brand meal stuff at a fraction of the price, and i got a guest pass to visit myself in the next 2 weeks!  :)
All the bits i didnt get there, i went to aldi and icelland this morning to get, all in spent £5 less than weekly budget too! so another bit to the overpayment account.
.freezer is full, and we have meals planned with everything except fresh stuff to get each week, milk, bread etc, so should be able to make some little weekly overpayments from ongoing savings from grocery spends  :)
Im awaiting the interest to be added to the mortgage , and then im going to do my monthend update, and targets for July..
Right, must crack on and get house tidied and animals mucked out before hubby gets up after his night shift..
