Life is about doing what makes you happy , in between earning the money to pay for it!  :)
I believe in concentrating your money on things that matter most to you, i have my chunky horse who takes up my time and spending money, and makes me extremely happy too !
We dont smoke/have expensive cars/holidays, in fact being here is like being in any holiday destination we would choose anyway, only we have it to ourselves, and i never forget how lucky we are to have found it.
we saved for a long time for our dream home, and yes we could have a house fully paid for now, but we wouldnt be in this lovely countryside peace and tranquility, paying for it in full will be my ultimate financial dream day ! cant wait for this uncertaintity to pass so we can get stuck back in to paying it off..
In the mean time, i will plod on saving where ever i can on food shopping /fuel etc to keep adding to my savings and little overpayment savings account.  :)
Today, i have meal planned right up to pay day- 25th- so only a small - under £50 max- needed for weekly top ups of fresh items, dog food, cleaning stuff etc.. that is my challenge for the rest of this month..

What a soggy start to the weekend!
Just got back in after mucking out and feeding the fur and feather babies, they dont like rain .....
Another £6. some pence sent to overpayment saving pot from account tidy..
Ive had a chat with hubby, and have decided to try and hang fire to see if my job is lost for sure before applying for anything else, im driving myself mad, and probably him, thinking of scenarios/schemes/plans, and at the end of the day until any redundancy is confirmed, i just dont know.
Worse case i do lose my current job, but i will be due some redundancy pay, which should be 3/4 months pay to my reckoning , which will allow me then to sort out my future plans. Im fancying a career change , and if i do lose my job, i will see it as the push i needed to move on a try something new.
I had a bad nights sleep last night overthinking- my worst bad habit- so didnt get to sleep until after 2, and hubby was home at 4.30am, so early night for us!
We are having a date night tonight- bought a dvd we wanted to see ages ago, and tesco half price curries, and treats for after-  we know how to live the high life! lol
    Have a good weekend everyone x :)
