Good to hear things have gone/going well.  I’m just looking at the wind and rain outside and I need to go out soon.  Excellent news about the chickens and the overpayments!

Glad the chickens are doing well and well done on the winter fund and OPs. Are you taking on any winter work alongside the reduced hours?

had a decent weekend in the cafe, helped by the dry weather, and saturday was lovely!

im really enjoying the less hectic pace after months of not much free time, though im looking forward to spring and earning more from my little enterprise!

im still managing to save and overpay with my reduced days, so thats good, dont want to dip into savings is i dont have to..

i really need to get christmas gifts organised, i hate last minute rush.. will make a start this week me thinks  :)

what a month, had powercuts last few days after the snow/wind storms, yesterday no electricity from 9am till 7.30pm, nightmare!!

ive been organised and got all christmas gifts for family sorted, and sorted M.I L gifts for her too, her altzeimers means we now have to sort most things for her, though she is still in her own home, and managing to live independantly..

the last weekends rubbish weather led to a bad cafe weekend.. lets see what this weekend brings..

due to christmas shopping, not much overpaying gone on in november, balance stands at £178.400

    just £21.53 overpaid..

oh well, lets get stuck in to December!!  :)

another crappy weather weekend. Managed to open my little cafe  friday and sunday, saturday was too horrendous, heavy freezing rain  :open_mouth:

ive sorted all christmas costs, so december will be saving for car repair and mot costs, a bit of hopefully saving and overpayments, and a start on january bill saving to keep ahead..
the next couple of months are going to be tight financially with my income dropping dramatically when weather means cafe takings poor, so a lot of planning will ne needed, but im up for the challenge!

    interest for november was £423.52, daily £ 14.11, overpaid £21.53  :/
im hoping the car costs arent too high in december, and i can make a bit better overpayment in december than november. but at least i covered all christmas costs without dipping into savings!

Also, a £25win on the premium bonds! a positive financial start to december  :)

well im all set for christmas, shopping done, gifts delivered, tidied house last night, phew i can relax!

ive done the financials, and all bill/food/petrol money  etc budgeted for and in correct accounts to cover January..

ive not done overpayments etc for december yet, but have worked out overall, our mortgage has reduced 1st january- today, £15076 !!
think that means a challenge for 2022, reduce the mortgage by £17000  :)

The balance today stands at £177,400, so by xmas eve 2022 , my target is to have the mortgage balance at £160,000 exactly, whoop whoop!!
