Petrol prices

I filled up my car with petrol yesterday and just passed the garage today and saw that the petrol was 2p a litre cheaper.
60p down the drain because I didn't wait another day to get petrol

Getting forgetful, if you think I've asked this before I probably have. :rotfl:

You can if you go to Aldi. Broccoli is 49p. But hurry, the offer ends tomorrow.0 -
I hate broccoli.
I wasn't complaining about petrol going down in price, I was moaning that I had to put petrol in my car at the higher price and lost 60p.Getting forgetful, if you think I've asked this before I probably have. :rotfl:0 -
And when the price goes up after you've filled up in the future, you will have restored the balance.0

That's Sods Law! It often happens to me when there's a local price war between Tesco and Sainsbury. Or if I'm running on fumes waiting for the "5p off a litre" offer. My dh used to drive me mad with it when we were on holiday. He'd spend hours driving around looking for the cheapest petrol. He couldn't seem to grasp the fact that he was using more than he would save in the long run.
Some people only exist as examples of what to avoid....0 -
Well I filled my vehicle up with diesel this morning (68 litres) and I had change back from the equivilent of £10.
Where I'm currently working, diesel is only about 14p per litre, and I bet both the gov't and the oil companies are still making a profit.0 -

UK tax is about 80% of the petrol price. If you include VAT. If the government cut tax to bring petrol down to a very low price then financially this country would be ruined!
I'm assuming the place you are in does not have great government services comparable with a developed country?0 -
Go for a long drive this evening and use up 30L, then you can fill up again and recover your lost 60p ! Simples.............0
