    Hi Everyone

Had a really busy day at work - it ties in with the Scottish school year which ends a fortnight tomorrow! Haven't had a chance to see what most of you are up to and no chance tonight as I am about to go out on babysitting duties for a friend.

Did notice last night that two little Haribos are having a birthday - hope they are enjoying it and how is their Mum?

Kyle hope you are OK. Have been in touch with your Mum - one Granny to another (plus one Mum to another)!!!!

Take care everyone. Sorry if you have had a difficult day or not been well (or your significant others). Congratulations to anyone else celebrating. Always glad to hear how the rest of you are doing!

DD not coming over for our local Gala on Saturday as weather not predicted to be good (it is rather chilly up here just now). Given the news from midwife yesterday about calling 999 if waters break etc, I would rather she stays close to home!

    Love and hugs.

Anyone heard from Amie or Anniestar lately???
AMIE is celebrating her birthday and has been posting :o

:hello: Oooh kiwi - wonderful to see you posting!!! ((hugs)) WTG, lady!!!

    (((jet)))

Many happy returns for the HM children :D:D:D

Had a great "Splash" class, although I think I may have pulled a muscle in my chest. Had a couple of not-nice pains in my chest this arvo so maybe I've gone in with too much enthusiasm.

Lads and I had a lovely time shopping after school, wise choices made by them and d13yo has supplimented his gift giving with some HM goodies straight from the microwave and now nicely chilling in the fridge

Bit wet outside now - thankfully the washing was done and dried though :T :T :T

Card making evening going on here shortly. Won't see the lads from the morning when they leave for school until Sunday morning so it all needs to be done tonight. WHSmiths has a half price sale on some of it's craft supplies so I did manage to pick up an item or three this morning ;)

College tomorrow and another fitness class (chest permitting).

Be good, you late nighters on here ;) Don't have too much wine, it affects your sleep ;)

;)Ooooh! 3 Times in one day! Can't remember the last time I did that (missus!).

Jet When I have a !!!!!! day I tell myself that I have to have these days to REALLY appreciate the good ones. You had a !!!!!! day so I figure karma, kismet, fate, whatever you choose to call it, owes you an absolutely fabulous one. Hope it happens soon. ((hugs))

taplady my DS and DD are only 14 and 11 but when they are with me they have to earn their pocket money. It isn't exactly hard work - things like washing up, drying the crockery and putting it away, keeping their rooms tidy, emptying bins, etc. but they know that if they don't do it they don't get paid. Maybe your DS will sit up and take notice if a particular week's driving lessons aren't forthcoming.

Chipps well done on the e-baying. Great clothes at bargain prices. That's what we are all about. :T

Oops hope you feel better soon.

Off to spend some time chatting with DS and DD about stuff that matters - e.g. Lightning and Hunter in Gladiators, Art Attack, Bill Bailey, basically all the stuff that seems SOOOO important when you are 14 and 11. It's great!!! Really! They make me smile soooooo much.

    Night all. xx

    Evening everyone
It's been a long day here, I was up juast after 5, I worked from 7:30 to 5:30, no break as we are short staffed, when I got home I fed next doors cats, watered their garden, watered mine, fed Thumper & Ogden, cooked a meal, honey & mustard pork chops with rice, & made a chocolate birthday cake, a loaf & some muffins, done the packed lunches & now I'm fit for nothing but my bed, lol.
Some good news, the lodger has paid some of her rent, which is good news as I need to buy fish & rabbit food at the weekend & was wondering how to afford it.
The birthday cake is nearly cool, so better go & start the topping.
    Hugs to all

Someone could have let me know I was pregnant - where did that come from

Thank you all soooooooo much for all your kind messages and PMs. I took DDs out in the rain to the lake to walk the dog. They spent ages splashing in puddles and writing their names in the sand with feathers. It really blew away a few cobwebs and made me feel a lot better. I did see something that made me feel sick though. There's a tree that has a big branch that's fallen in to the lake and DDs always sit there to look over the lake. DD1 said that sm1 had put a dead fish in the hollow trunk of the fallen branch and told me to look. So I quickly moved her away and it was a dead duck stuffed down the trunk with a load of empty beer cans   :mad: I'm going to ring the council tomorrow. How could any1 be so disgustingly cruel to a poor defenceless duck. I'm so glad DD thought it was a fish because she would have been really upset if she'd seen properly.

    Hi,

I'm ashamed to say that I have spent more or less the whole day in tears again. It seems like I just get functioning 'normally' again and then I'm off blubbing again. It's crazy. And I'm not due on for another week.

:o Sorry Jet, just re-read your post and I read *and I'm not due for another week*. Well that blows my advice doesn't it. :D
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Hello and hugs to anyone that needs one.

Think I have finally finished painting - did DD's radiator today and it looks much better.

Someone is coming tomorrow morning to value our house and put it on the market and we have had an offer to buy my dad's flat.

Made a veggie pasta for Dds and baked potatoes for DH for tea.

Had fish and chips yesterday as I had been painting all day.

Have loads of washing to hang out tomorrow as it has been raining for two days.

DD has her leaver's bal tonight and is pleased with the dress we got in the sales.

It is a Ben De Lisi design and very glamorous but elegant as well. (half price helped!)
