Hi, this is the Daily Thread for today This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
:hello: Goooood Morning fellow OS'ers

Haven't caught up with yesterdays thread yet, I'll have a read with my cuppa in a mo.
Up early this morning, seagulls are being noisey bunch!
Sorted all the laundry out last night, it was growing at an alarming rate

Gym this morning, then home to catch up on some more housework, then I shall collect lads from school and take them shopping - they want to get something for their Dad for Father's Day (they were going to bake but time has run away with us).
Last day of d13yo's exams today, which he's very happy about

D11yo still getting results back from his own exams and doing rather well, which is a credit to him

Hope you all have a great moneysaving day, off to have a cuppa and a nosey

Good morning everyone,
((HUGS)) to anyone who needs/wants one.
Not much happening here today, 2 LOs this morning (one at Nursery) and then another LO coming as extra around lunchtime, so more of a busy afternoon for me today.
This morning im hoping to catch up on all the bits i havnt done so far, but things like the washing will be difficult due to the weather (raining here again). Never mind, will do the garden good.
Thats about it really, going to go and get my clicks done now i think, and finish my cuppa.
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

We have rain!!
Morning hilstep, ym, queenie, catowen and all those to follow - hope every1 has a gr8 day!!
So far since the rude awakening at 6 from the alarm clock, I have cleaned 4 pairs of school shoes and put WM on (and made my caffeine kick of course!!)
I've got to minute a meeting all day today so childminder is picking up both DDs and I'm paying her til 6.15 pm. Seeing as I don't get childcare (apart from when I'm at work) very often and should be back from work by 4.30-5 - I've got a bit of time to to myself!!
Any old left overs for dinner tonight as it will just me little old me!!
I'm going to go through yesterdays to-do list and see how I did!!
Hope every1 has a gr8 day!!

Morning
Really, really tired.
bf was ruched to hospital yesterday - throwing up blood. I had to leave work early, and spent the whole day there with him. He was kept in, but we don't know what's wrong with him yet
Having my meeting with the boss today to discuss time off. If I don't get it, I think I'll be off sick anyway, as my last reserves of energy are running dry.
Still trying to work out the different recycling bins at home. Seems most of the street is too. Everyone seems to be putting all of them out at once as we don't know what's to be taken when!!!
Didn't manage to get the hotel sorted. Been told a lot of things, not sure if it's true, so working on that now.
Got a cheque yesterday from solicitor, so must pay that in later - we like getting money back!!!!
Well hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Good Morning all
It rained here last night, so I'm just going to see how much we had, if it wasn't much I have to water next door's garden as well as feed the cats. Thumper & Ogden won't come out if the grass is wet, but I'll leave their door open, so they can get out if it dries up. No work for hubby today so that means I can leave the the WM & DW for him, lol.
Nothing much else happening here, so I better get a wriggle on.
Hugs
Hester

Just trying to motivate myself to get ready for work! Had a fantastic day yesterday, went to DD2's uni to see her degree fashion show - she did really well to get through to have her work exhibited - not that I saw much as the proud mum blubbing started - not done that since the school carol concerts when they were little!
The drive to get there was completely different though - 4 1/2 hours for a 2 hour journey - good old M25!!!!!
Best hurry up on the shower - hope everyone has a good day!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

Morning. Got up late today... A welcome change.
Did a boot sale last night and got rid of some junk. I was not asking much for stuff and drove away with half as much as I went with and £60. So not too shabby considering it was a small boot sale.
I bought a chinese on the way home and gave my daughter a Happy meal and £5 for helping, so she was chuffed.
I have a golf day today. I dusted off the clubs yesterday and tried out the driving range. I can still hit balls badly, so nothing new there.
Breakfast at the club, followed by a round of golf, 2 course lunch, and 2nd round of golf and then buffet tea and prizes... so a nice day out. Pity it was'nt raining!!
I think a second change of clothes is necessary.
The week is going well so far and tomorrow is pay day..... :beer:NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0
