    Hi,

I'm ashamed to say that I have spent more or less the whole day in tears again. It seems like I just get functioning 'normally' again and then I'm off blubbing again. It's crazy. And I'm not due on for another week. It started like any ordinary morning. Alarm went off at six n I went about my bits n bobs. I felt a bit short tempered but OK. Then after I'd run to school, run to the car, driven to the train station and ran to the platform the train had already left - 1 minute early!!!! I used to do this every morning and only miss the train once in a blue moon but this is the third day in a row.

I felt myself start welling up and tried to light a fag to calm myself down like I usually do, but I just started crying and couldn't stop. I cried for the 30 minute drive in to town where I should have parked the car for my 20 minute walk across town to the office but it was tipping down so I stopped crying and rang my boss to ask if as a 1 off I could claim parking on expenses so I could park nearer the office. She said yes and so I started crying again.

I got stuck in the 1way system and then found a space just a little bit the wrong way up a 1way street a 5 min walk from the office (still blubbing). I quickly pulled into it while their were no cars coming and then had 2 w8 ages til the lights up the road changed back to red b4 I could do a 3 point turn so I was facing the right way incase traffic wardens came. I then opened the car door (still crying), dropped my bag in the river which was once a gutter, got laughed at by a man with an umbrella (I don't own one :-( ), got out of the car into the river of a pavement only to discover I've got a hole in the bottom of my boot. Thank God I had the right change for the parking meter or I probably would have started screaming hysterically in the middle of the city centre full of busy professionals with big golfing brolleys!!

I then carried on crying until I got in the office. Some silly work men were very sillily loading the lift with a billion bits of crap so I couldn't even check myself in the mirror quickly. I then had to run up 3 flights of stairs (still crying) and try and quickly compose myself (LOL) before going in to 4 senior managers of the NHS. I had to be at a meeting at 10.15 to take minutes and it was 10.10. My boss helped me with the laptop and I was still crying. And I said to her 'I can't stop crying. I don't want to go in the meeting crying' and she said 'they can deal with it' (??????????????????) I don't get that - maybe it's tough luv??? coz she is a really nice person (I think anyway).

I finally made it in to the meeting at 10.30 - thankfully they hadn't started yet - and then the day started to get better after about 11.00 and I even managed to get a plug in after they'd done Any Other Business about sponsorship for my charity jump.

Sorry to go on but glad I got it all out - I'm just blaming it on the hormones coz I had quite a good nights sleep last night. I've also been waking up with cold like symptoms for about a week and a half and think I might have something brewing. They get better through the day so I don't know why :-?

Kiwichick glad things are on the up for you! nice to see you back!:j

Jet (((big hugs))) to you xxxx

Am a bit fed up at the moment, DS didn't get this job either, just dont know what he will do next, he's skint and got driving lessons booked that we will have to pay for and we cant afford it really. He's driving me nuts at the moment, stopping out till the middle of the night and stopping in bed till lunchtime and doing s*d all round the house:mad: things have got to change!

Thankfully DH seems a bit better, has had a relaxing day recharging his batteries.

Am off tapping tonight so hopefully can forget everything else for a bit.

(((hugs))) to anyone who needs one

    Hi Everyone

Taplady - looks like you had better make DS earn his keep/driving lessons, he maybe will be prepared to take any job if the alternative, is either starvation, or doing all the housework, washing, etc. I always told my DS that if he was a home and I was at work, he would run the house, it was half kidding, but he believed me! - :rotfl: :rotfl:

((hugs))) Jet I've sent you a PM. ((hugs)) P-P , Kyle, CM and anyone else who fancies one.

    Have a good evening.

Jet ((((((hugs))))) Maybe once the baby is born your hormones will get back to normal. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

Kyle It might take a wee while before Lo gets back into a better sleeping pattern. He might feel a bit uncomfortable at night. Give my love to Twink.

Taplady It's just a stage. Been there, done that. They do come out of it though so you have my sympathy. :D

Well went to the hairdresser this arv. She fixed it up that it blends in a lot better and not so noticeable and with some very brisk washing the rest should come out in a few weeks.

Just made a salmon mornay for tea which was yummy. Off to do the dishes.
    Bye for now.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Hello!:hello:

I'm quite late today, so haven't read any of the posts at all, thought I would post first then settle down to a long read.

Most of today has been lovely and sunny, and we wondered what had happened to all the rain we were promised. Never mind, it came late this afternoon! I wish we could get every day organised with sunshine all day & rain at night - much more efficient!

I had work this morning, and this afternoon I picked up a jacket from Freecycle that I was hoping would go with an outfit I bought for a wedding. We have 2 weddings to go to this summer, and no money for a big clothes spend as DH is still off work (so just basic salary to live on:eek: )
But I managed to find 2 outfits on ebay, in total for much much less than even 1 new outfit, so I was pleased with that. The freecycle jacket is exactly the right colour to go with one of the outfits, so I was very pleased with that!

Anyway, I am off to read the rest of the day's posts.
(((hugs))) to those who need them, or just want a hug
