Vodafone - worst website?

I wanted the under 18 barring removed, I'm 69 !!!!!!! But they insist on a £1 credit/debit card charge to prove it, and despite the offer of a £2-50 credit it seems a waste of time. I've been trying to get this bar removed for over 6 months. I just let them deduct the DD monthly and crack on. They're not the only ones with no online customer service but they'll be my last. And I thought Virgin was bad. :cool:0

So they will remove it and in effect give you £1.50 but you can't be bothered?0
-
Couldn't give a toss about the £1-50. It's the amount of jumping through hoops they make you do then say they can't do it and to phone a number. Just part of the wriggling about that is the hallmark of Vodafone. Though why you felt the need to comment is beyond me. Better to let people think you're a twunk, rather than post drivel and thus confirm it. But thanks. LMAO. :xmassign:0

I had a simple password reset issue that took 4 calls and 8 emails and persistence to sort out. It did get solved but Vodaphone were clearly not interested in solving the root cause issues with their website and backend IT that cased the need for the calls and emails.0

First two attempts led to the Oracle access manger error page.
Third attempt logged in....................and for the first time in 4 months (with the same card details!) the payment for a £10 Freedom Freebee was accepted.
My address is still not in my personal details, although I mailed everything across as requested?

Back to 'normal' again.....after a long pause trying to but a £10 top up in My Vodafone account which I urgently need today, I get:
Internal Server Error
"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log."
This whole process really needs a thorough investigation or Vodaphone are going to lose business.

....exactly the same again after a log out and log in again.
I never have this with my O2, Orange or 3 payments.
I am disabled but now have to go to a local shop to buy a voucher as I have to send some important texts today.
Problem is that at this location only Vodafone has a strong signal on my iPhone!

I know Vodafone reps look in on this, so the thread now changes from Worst Website to Worst Mobile Phone Company!
I got so fed up with not being able to top up up on My Vodafone due to errors, that I took advantage of an offer of £7.65 per month for a 12 month Pay Monthly contract as I already had my wife's phone on pay monthly on an account in my name.
I wanted to transfer my PAYG number to the new Pay Monthly account and was assured that the new sim would be ready to use with the ported number working. It wasn't!
After 40 minutes on live chat, the operative said it was finally done and that my 'temporary number' of 7777 77777 would be changed to my required number of 7777 88888...however the 'temporary number' about to be changed was my wife's current number on my account!
After much explanation I was advised that my wife's number would not be changed and my number would be active in 30 minutes.
Hours later my transferred number registers as 'number unavailable', so I ring and talk the situation through. I am told that my wife's number will not be touched and that my PAYG will be transferred by 8pm today.
However, on the paperwork, the new sim already has my transferred number on it!
Why is this so hard to achieve and why was I told that the new sim would be immediately ready to use as pay monthly with my old PAYG number already on it (having given the PAC code etc on order)???
This really is terrible service and if only I could get another provider here and in another location I use I would move in an instant!
I still don't know if either my wife or I will now have working phones by the end of the day.........and I was supposed to be travelling but as I am disabled can't be without a phone...and of course the old PAYG sim is deactivated!
