This morning has flown. DS2 sorted for cookery lesson. Cats, clothes and cups brought down. DD3 delivered to school then I had a 2 hour battle with lawnmower repairs. Given in and have found a man who can so will be left till Tomorrow to be taken for repair.
Henry walked round LR, kitchen, stairs, landing and bedrooms and toilet and bathroom.
Need to mop kitchen floor and dust bedrooms then off to pick up DD3 and her friend up from school.
Tea is pie with mash leftover from yesterday. Just going to do some more taties and veg to go with it. Oh I have Yorkshire pudding mix in fridge as well, never saved any before so hope its ok.
Trying to juggle finances to go to Yarndale this weekend. Never been to anything like it before and have been kindly offered a lift. Ticket bought but need to find some spending money. May have to sell some things on fb.
Hugs spoons and chocolate to all who need them.
Poppy good wishes, pigpen hope little ones get well soon.Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. – Hilary Cooper

Electrician is now here and I have had to empty my big wardrobe and think I have hurt my back. Contents are everywhere and will have to stay until OH gets home.0

Dustykitten wrote: »Love this but who do you delegate all those jobs to that you don't want to do yourself? Does the tablet create the minutes?
Sadly with own business I can only delegate them to myselfbut at least if they are written in the minutes as "Action...." I can have the satisfaction of declaring them done at the next 'meeting'. Yes I talk to the tablet and it types the minutes. I have to tidy it up a bit as it doesn't always recognise my words! But I do find it leaves me free to think out loud, maybe it's the novelty factor. Not as posh as some of the speech-to-text software my students have, but adequate.

I'm going to try and get on with Bossy's challenges this week too......DD has made a start in her room, does that count???
Going to have a cuppa and see what I can get done before going back up the school..............0 -
Glad you had a nice holiday LW and well done on your challenge.
My roof components appear to have arrived. My garden is now full of various types of insulation, beams and boards. Phew.
He's confident we will be watertight by the end of the day...
Managed a bit of flying at lunchtime, although I haven't eaten - the biccie tin has been shared round and much kettle-boiling achieved.
Back to paid stuff...Bossymoo

Welcome to newbies and returners.
Mainly work stuff so far, doing fairly well (Had my self-meeting Dusty and minutes duly tabletted!
House wise - cleaned glass doors between kitchen and conservatory while making coffee this morning; brilliant suggestion to clean one window at a time on the list - got so carried away I did both sides of the doors.
- one load washing on line (no sign of sun yet)
- still sticking to the idea of "if you walk from one room to another, you have to put away something from each room" which keeps the clutter down.
- checked bank a/c as Aug 31 was my last predictable salary. Pleased it's still looking ok.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Have just flown round the kitchen
can I be excused from dusting on top of the cupboards because at 25/26w I feel I might fall off the ladder?Window cleaned, dusted cupboard doors & handles, window sill done. Under the sink is all flylady'd up
did that a few weeks back and it looks spiffing.
Have also just called B&B for Saturday, decided what I'm going to wear (choices are limited due to ever-expanding bump), text OH to tell him to tell friend price is £30 each...urm what else, took another parcel to the postbox for P.C...
Right off to fly at these net curtainsthen to read the chapter in the book I'm supposed to read for hypnobirthing tonight

That is beyond exciting :j:j:j:j:j I'll soon be starting log fires in the house, so tidying my woodshed will be a priority task
