    Morning

Thank you for asking about DD1's eye. It is looking a lot better on Skyp£, she has one more day of Anti-B's left so fingers crossed it will continue to heal on its on.

Well, I feel like the house is a ghost town, DD1 and DD2 safely at Uni, DD3 vacated the house for school, DS taken to nursery, and DD4 is currently napping in her pushchair in the living room.

For the first time in years, I can hear a ticking clock, and my typing sounds like hammering on the keyboard it is sooooooo quiet :rotfl::eek::rotfl::eek:

    Flying at started at 5.45am

I completed the main bathroom after I told DD2 see could scavenge any part used bottle she fancied when packing up on Friday.

I have now put ONE of nearly empty bottle of everything back in the lovely clean cupboards, and hauled the remaining bottles of everything back into my room. The exception is toothpaste, there are currently 4 tubes of toothpaste with a good few days worth in each back in the main bathroom.

Despite my compulsion for recycling I found about 15 containers (albeit quite a few were small ones) that needed to be recycled (I believe that DD2 might have been sneaky and poured LOTS of dribs and drabs into one bottle of the same type to take more away with her, very MSE :money: and very flylady)

I have told DD3 that I want her to bring me empty containers everytime they run out from now on, as I NEVER EVER want to do that job again.

I have also told her that the bathroom is now as messy as I ever ever want to see it again.

the sink, counter and mirrors have had a quick S&S, and a Toots list item has been done (chiselling off [STRIKE]cement[/STRIKE] toothpaste and limescale deposits from the charger of the electric toothbrush :o)

dirty washing bundled up (although WM is hungry)

    Monday - Kitchen
    15 minutes....

[STRIKE]Hover and mop floor[/STRIKE] and carried on out into the hallway while there was water in the steam mop still :)
    Empty the bin
    30 minutes to spare....
    Clean a window
[STRIKE]Sort the under sink cupboard[/STRIKE] this is still tidy with everything in their trugs
    Got an hour....
    [STRIKE]Wipe the worksurfaces over[/STRIKE]
    Dust on top of shelves/cupboards/furniture
    Wipe the window sill
    Extras
[STRIKE]Sort out your T-towels, oven gloves apron, dispose of old one and wash dirty ones[/STRIKE] my tea towel box is still in neat and tidy order in the cupboard - so this is gone!
    Wipe some door handles

ETA....completely forgot DW has been fed, and sink has had a bleach bath too, paperwork hotspot has been relocated onto a chair in the hallway, so I must get on with shredding, filing or otherwise

DD4 is telling me she is Hank Marvin, so time to get Daisy mode underway,

    Back in a while
The cold never bothered me anyway

I do this too; I also have a friend who hoovers the patio after the grass has been cut. She wins :rotfl:

  • Hey Ladies

Hope it's OK if I join you all. I am separating from my children's dad and he is moving out this week. Don't feel sad for me. I'm happy about it. All amicable.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to having the house to myself and my 3 boys.

I've had an industrious morning so far.

All kids off to their schools with no issues.
Been out to B&q for some more paint for the decorator. He's painted the room about 6 times now and still patches of plaster keep showing through. Hopefully he's finished now and I won't be using him again.
Went to Lidl's and spent £35. Some on catfood though. The usual stuff we buy for 24 for £10 is the same for £5 so going to go back and stock up. I have 12 cats!
-put on a casserole in SC.
-Dropped lunch off at DS2 school.

Going to have a cup of tea and work through these Flylady list. My kitchen is a disaster so it's lucky it's on the list today.

I also knit and currently knitting socks and slippers by hand and blankets by machine. Anyone machine knit?

When he's gone I'll have a room to put all my knitting machines in!:T
