My sister has just sent a rather rude text message and called both my personal & work mobiles. I took back home all the baby clothes from in my parents attic yesterday to look through and sort out what I'd like from the entire car full of boxes/bags. As she's in a strop with me (taking out on me her anger at her OH!) she's decided I have to pay her for all of it, which I think is outrageous especially as she's sold all the really nice pieces anyway. So just going to cherry pick bits and give all the rest of the tat back....so off to sort through baby clothes I goDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Dispose of at least 10 items from the room of doom
Arrange shopping trip with MIL and SIL
Prepare a 'homemade' alternative to takeaway for dinner so DH hopefully won't notice he's not spending money pointlessly :rotfl:

Very slow today as I fell prey to the afternoon nap... just decluttering a cuppa though and then will get back to it and hopefully have things looking a little more respectable before DH arrives home. Tonight is his American Football night when he watches Sunday night's game and we normally snuggle up with a takeaway... am going to get something in the oven though so he doesn't get a chance to order :rotfl:PAD: £4843.10 (loan paid, yay!)

Oooof knackered! Got quite a bit of my list done, nothing in the kitchen yet (seemed a shame to be indoors when I had outdoors things to do and it's so nice here). I'll have a fly in there after I've viewed the house and am sorting tea. After the house visit I can also sort out house appliances which I'm VERY excited about haha
As regards wedding gifts/money for honeymoon I guess it depends on the wording of it. I went to one recently which actually stated all they wanted on the day was our company but if we felt we wanted to we could contribute to the honeymoon. But I can also understand that people may feel pressured to give that then too. Personally I didn't give at that one as a) was just an evening guest and b) I had been invited on the hen long weekend to Newcastle and that had actually been a very expensive trip. We had also split the costs of it all so the bride didn't pay other than spending money so I felt I had already made a very reasonable contribution (albeit to the hen rather than the honeymoon).
Kerri that's a bit out of order! If she isn't currently needing it and it's in a loft then it's nice to help, especially as babies tend to wear things a couple of times and no harm comes to them. Pass them back and pay her rental! haha My sis is already saving the best bits from my nephew and talking about when I get the buggy etc, I've only been with the BF about 7 months and have no intention of starting a family anytime soon! haha

I've done everything that was in my list today.
Forgot who posted the pic of the rose. But what a beautiful rose it is.
It seems the norm to ask for money at weddings now. I don't like it tbh.
Well off to make some tomato sauce to go with the spaghetti & meatballs the others are having. I will have the same without the meatballs.
Take care all

Hi ladies!! Just popping on briefly to say I'm in this week. Got off the train and home about an hour ago and I'm off to work in a few mins!
This is what I've been up to this weekend...
It's an event called Tough Mudder. A 12 mile run with SAS style obstacles along the route. I've had to dive into an ice bath, run through dangling electricity wires (managed to avoid all but one) clamber over high walls and crawl thru tubes, amongst other things.
Very fun, but very hard. I ended up slipping on one obstacle and smacked my shoulder so it's very painful.
My whole body is in pain...but my shoulder is winning!
My brother lives up near the event, so I've spent the weekend with him and his GF. He ran with me and was great encouragementmrsmortenharket wrote: »Hopefully I've put a line through what I've done.

I'd just like to say that if Mr Bloom thinks my fridge needs cleaning behind, he's very welcome to come and do it. It's a fridge-freezer, taller than I am, and even Mr LW has a hard time to move it.
Kitchen mostly done; loo scrubbed because I needed to put in a new rim block so I thought an extra good scrub wouldn't come amiss; dogs played with in the garden (cheapie tennis racket I bought on holiday for the purpose deployed to excellent effect);;) dogs groomed; dogs fed.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
welcome back LW
hope you have had a good breakSPC~12 ot 124
