missymoo also feeding again but first time since this morning. Last night was quite good and stretched out to three and a half hours. Can you believe I forgot to sweep lol, I got back upstairs and then remembered and thought no. I did however express some milk, wash up and shuffle some washing.
Dd1 is convinced she's well enough for school today although is still wheezing like a smoker. I'll take her in under strict instructions she's to call if she's not coping.
Very foggy today, quite surprised me when I looked out.
Need to go back to the town hall today, found out yesterday you can only leave documents between 9-12 which isn't very helpful. I don't even want to see anyone. Then flying will resume.
Thoughts, love and prayers to toots family today.0 -
DH away for his op. I await a call to go and get him later.
We will have been married for 26 years on Thursday. We still have a lot of the small wedding presents we were given - a pyrex jug springs to mind. We had a wedding list - each mum ran half of it (200 miles apart). When we married O/H was a student and we were going to be living in basic student accommodation- so we wanted the basics - pillows, sheets, plates, kettle etc. My mum took a long time to accept that I didn't want to put a dinner service on my list. Her best friend didn't want to buy anything off my list - she rang me up and told me that she was buying me a tea pot set. She wanted to buy me something that would last. I haven't had it for years - it was too small and dribbled everywhere...
Luckily my mother-in-law had lived from hand to mouth when she got married and appreciated that my list was the sensible way to go about it... not much point in having a china cup and saucer if you haven't got a kettle to make the tea with...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Persuade DH to move bed to a more sensible place in the bedroom and empty the underbed storage of doom
Dispose of at least 10 items from the room of doom
Arrange shopping trip with MIL and SIL
Prepare a 'homemade' alternative to takeaway for dinner so DH hopefully won't notice he's not spending money pointlessly :rotfl:
Arrange a service for the boiler which is now saying it's due in the next 25 days (they were out last week but seemingly didn't notice this!)
Move the dehumidifier to the bedroom
Change sheets on bed

Arrange hairdressing appointment - booked through Wahanda with cashback, very MSE!
Prepare DH's work clothes for the rest of the week
Email to the council (useless again!)
Managed to get a full night's sleep last night :j so am feeling a lot more enthusiastic today! I don't know if I've missed a list or if it's not up yet, but I'm going to take this as an opportunity to catch up with what I missed yesterday :rotfl: DH has been fed and decluttered to work, so am going to make a cuppa and assess what needs doing in the kitchen first. I might crack on and do the meal planning while I have breakfast.PAD: £4843.10 (loan paid, yay!)
One debt vs 100 days: £288.73 / £750
£20 a day: March £838.97 / £620 April £224.53 / £600

At the moment we are trying to declutter mum before her move - 26 years on she is still finding it hard to accept that neither me nor my sister want the china dinner services...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0

Morning all.
Very foggy here.
My list has washing on it & some window cleaning. The previous owners didn't wipe the windows & the black surrounding the windows is dreadful. I've done some of the windows, but more to go. It's horrible. I wipe every morning when the windows are steamed up, it doesn't take a minute.

My favourite spider is busy building it's second huge next outside the window where I sit being watched by a cranefly from the otherside of the glass. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all.
I didn't get anywhere near where I wanted to be yesterday so I'm going to carry on with that list today.
RANT ALERT - Feel free to skip
I need to sort out something for tea tonight, but first I'll need to wash the slow cooker pot again. DD did washing up last night, the slow cooker pot was the only thing left upside down in the drainer to ensure it was completely dry before I used it this morning which I do every time I use it. Because it had "a layer of ick" in it, DD put it back in the dirty pile with stuff in it. That ick was marks from where I've used metal utensils in it so there was no harm in it being used as it was. I only scrub those marks out with bar keepers friend once a month as I don't want to damage the finishNow its full of ick from the dirty dishes.
Also after doing all the washing yesterday (except the towels & cleaning cloth loads which were planned for today) I've got to wash DDs PE kit  They've mostly been playing mat rounders since term began but yesterday they did netball and DD seem to have brought home loads of mud and something smelly on her kit, particularly her sweatshirt & socks which are the only items without spares as she hardly wore them last year. Next time I go to town I'll be buying new ones so there's two since she has PE three times a week. Her white trainers also need cleaning as thats there the ick has come fromFortunately I can throw them in with the throws/cushion covers from the sofas as she's also managed to get something on them  Please tell me this is normal tween behaviour!! :wall:

Forgot who suggested it but the basket with bubbles idea sounds lovely and I might pinch it for the wedding this weekend, but include some gorgeous little bone china measuring spoons and scoops for £10 as something that will last.
