Last week I read on a different forum about ways of cheating the self scan and someone said they scanned everything as a loose tomato, I thought they were joking at the time but now I'm not too sure.

I was told about it by an SA a year or two ago. Someone in my local at the time was buying joints of beef as loose carrots. :naughty:

Also, if a whoopsie label had been put on a removable outer sleeve some people were swapping the sleeve for a pack that was still good for days/a week. It meant some poor sould woul have been left paying full price for sometihng that was days past its best

Thanks, you're not butting in, all advice is welcome. It's a big decision for our family to make and a lot of money involved so I need to get it right. Anyone else got an opinion?

if u owned the house and were selling it would you sell it for 160,000/175,000 to the people asking ?

if i thought my house was worth 200k then i would not sell for 160k or 170k

id think about 180k but 185 k would really make me sit up and listen

might sound crazy but if it just come on market and only had u to view it i would want to hold out for other people house sales are picking up apparently;)

also they might need every penny to move

best of luck thou im looking for houses with the hope of after xmas actually going for it:eek::eek:

where i live 100-30k would get u 4/5 bed house with lovely garden and drive i feel for people who live in expensive areas trying to get on the market

    Hi emerald:)
Can you put a memory stick in for films please:o
As you can't with the ipad:(

Nerfie, it's got a little HDMI socket, a little USB socket and a socket for a micro SD card.
It says you can connect to the TV (via the hdmi thing) to play movies. Also you can transfer photos and files (via the usb bit) to it
What all that actually means, I have no idea :o

I thought the supermarkets gave us enough ways to legally remove products from the stores at silly prices without having to resort to anything illegal!

Thanks aau, I did spot these but DH has become fussy

After wading through 40+ packs of Huggies wipes from a superdrug deal a while back he made me promise never to buy them again 'even if there's a glitch' :rotfl:

Perhaps Mr T will oblige and drop some to half price from tomorrow ;)

Hi Logie, mr t has pampers sensitive £1 a pack. I got some last week, used a £5 cc voucher doubled up to £10 baby voucher and bought 10 packs.

    Hope you are feeling better:)

Thanks. This is the dilemma. I still don't think I've got anything to lose by bidding low other than not getting the house but I can always up my bid once I have an idea of what they will accept.

I would agree with busy spider and maybe offer more than 160,000 as it is a lot less. Then see how you go. Depends how desparate they are and how much they paid in the first place I guess. :)
