Fantastic news about the overtime making such a big hole in the debt this month.

So... here I am sitting in front of the computer struggling to come up with goals.

The plan is to sit here until I come up with a plan. And here I thought I was simple.
    :p

    1) 15 spend-free days.
Should manage this (if I include the holiday as spend-free days as they are budgetted).

    2) Budget everything.
Will have to figure out what the plan is. We only really have three weeks to plan for.

    3) Pay £1000 off the credit card.
I plan to pay £1000 off the credit card but can't actually pay it until the end of the month.

    4) Complete 10 hours on wiifit.
Works out as an hour a day for ten days. If we ignored the week I am away then it works out as 3 days a week (and an extra day for fun).

    5) Lose 8 pounds in weight.
I haven't really managed to lose anything so I am going full-force into April. I hope to lose two stones by June but will see how it goes. My main aim is to fit into the dress (decently) as just now I fit into it but it's a bit tight and lumpy.
    :(

    6) Finish off the planning and have a brilliant trip away.
Come back refreshed and ready to learn and grow both at work and at home.

    Budgets:
    * Shopping budget: £80 for three weeks.
    * Holiday budget: £100 (away with mum, cousin and auntie after Barcelona). We have euros for Barcelona already.
    * Fuel budget: £50 for the month.
    * Savings pots: £142 (including the £35 I owe the pot).
    Grand Total = £372.

I am taking my mum out on Tuesday for her lunch (my treat as she paid last week I think).
I think that should be it, I think. I am really struggling to make up goals.

That stupid house keeps playing on my mind and I am not sure what to do with it.
I have had several dreams where it came back on the market and we managed to buy it.
This is adding to my disappointment. I really wish we had gone for a look round but then I think I may have fallen in love even more and not have been able to accept not getting it.
    :embarasse

I don't think I am psychic and I don't think the house will ever come up for sale in our price range ever again so I need to accept it and move on.
    :(

Anyways... all ready for April. It's going to be a brilliant month!!

Of course April is going to be a great month (it's my birthday) and once it's over it's May Bank Holiday!

Still looking for jobs and getting nowhere but at least I've figured out my budget this month so I can pay for the repairs to my car and still afford my plans in May.

Weirdly my running seems to have taken another leap forward, have knocked almost 3 mins off my 3.5 mile route, 2 mins off the 2.5 mile route and just less than a minute from my mile route in the last couple of weeks, thought at first it was just an anomaly but it seems to be consistant, sadly however I'm still not actually losing any weight - think I've lost just under 3lb since January. :/

My weight has hit a plateau too scubaangel :(

Got my 10k tomorrow, I'm rather nervous and it is forecast to rain all day but I am looking forward to the finish line and finding out my time! Plus once its over I can start using the gym for things other than training for the race and can run normal distances on the treadmill.

Hope you've all had a lovely day

Hopefully being able to mix it up a bit with the change in training will help you get off the plateau, not quite sure what to do about mine as I've gone from irregular short runs to more regular runs of differing distances and then added the swimming as well. Am just hoping that over summer eating more generally healthy food will kick start it again.

Ooooooooooooh, good luck with your run tomorrow!!!!
    Hugs.

Today has been a wonderful day. OH had an optician's appointment so we decided to make a day of it and go into the city.

I put 8 horses on for the grand national (mum, dad, OH and me each picked two horses). Worked out as £16 and OH's horses came 1st and 3rd whilst dad's horse came 4th.
So looks like we have won about £60 which OH has offered to put in the holiday pot which is pretty awesome.
    :D

We headed into the city and OH bought us TGI Fridays for lunch.
    :)

I spent £20 on dvds (frozen which I was desperate for, the heat for my mum and me to watch and cloudy with a chance of meatballs which I didn't actually need, sorry fell off the wagon and bought on impulse).
    :(

We went into loads of shops trying to find to find a nice dress for this wedding (driving me crazy as I can't make any decisions, will probably end up in trousers and a top).
    :undecided

Went into BHS and bought some lovely tops for our trip to Barcelona and for the week in Kos... and I am very lucky as Oh had some vouchers from completing a study so he let me use them.
6 new tops for a fiver.
    :j

So, I spent £41 and got three dvds, six tops and some money back off the grand national... and I got to spend some lovely quality time with my OH.
    :happyhear

Aw, when is your bday scuby?? I will need to remember to wish you a happy day when it comes.
    :)

I am working tomorrow (extra shift). I am giving serious thought to the junior manager (to make it simple) post that is coming up soon but I don't think I have a strong enough personality.
I think people will run all over me so I think I will probably just stick with where I am and hope that whoever gets the job likes me.
    :(

Hope you guys are soing great.
    Hugs.

    good morning.
    :D

I haven't been on here for quite some time but decided it's time for a bit of an update.
    :o

My OH and I got engaged whilst in Barcelona. It was a lovely proposal in Guell Park. We had a beautiful view of the city then as he did the deed, a steel band started playing right beside us. It was completely spontaneous (not the proposal but the band) and really funny in a cute sort of way.

Monday is getting back to business. I want (need) to lose weight and I have every intention of sorting my finances out so we can start saving for the wedding.
    :o

Don't think there is anything else to add just now, I will do another post with May's challenge plan.
    Hugs.
