hello,
re the weight loss i reckon it is def to do with being later in the day and having been on night shift. i always weigh myself first thing in the morning as i can be 3 or 4lbs heavier by the end of the day which is a big difference! bet if you weigh yourself after you have been to sleep you will notice a difference!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
I'm with clippy, I weigh myself as soon as I get up (regardless of the time), as by the end of the day I figure everything I've had to eat and drink is still in my system. It does make a surprisingly big difference overall. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hey scuby and clippy.
It's weigh day tomorrow so I will do what you suggest tomorrow and hope that it shows a difference.
I have been good (reduced chocolate/sugar intake) so I am hoping that it does show even just a 2lb weight loss or I think it will be quite disheartening.
:embarasse
Tried yellow pea and ham soup today... it was nice and flavoursome but a bit bitty if you know what I mean. I imagined the yellow peas would have gone a bit mushy like in lentil soup but they were a bit hard. Not sure if that is normal to be honest.

Have only managed to pay £500 instead of £600 at the end of this month which is a shame but it means that the whole December holiday is paid off.
Just got to wait now and see what the credit card statement says. Hopefully it will show a decrease, even if it is just a small one.
Hope you are all keeping well.

Hey
I agree, I weigh myself when I wake up and it does make a huge difference if you leave it until later in the day/later after you get up.
My diet isn't going great. I have lost the willpower, although I have not been too naughty, just finding it hard to eat fruit and veg all day. I am however doing more exercise, I ran with one of the dogs for nearly two miles today but that was hard workNot sure I will make the 10km race in a month
I have no plans to go on holiday as really need to pay this debt off as quickly as possible. We may go away later in the year, depending on how much debt I have paid off. I also have a hen do weekend to go to and to pay for (almost the cost of a cheap holiday!) so this may be my 'holiday' for the year. Are you excited for your trip in April?

Hi Stewby,
I haven't dropped in for a while, I had been really busy at work this time, and haven't done anything apart from work and sleep! I just got back yesterday and am now catching up with your diary and procrastinating my revision! I should really get on with it because my exam is only two weeks away now.
Not much else to report, other than a 1.5 lb gain at fat club yesterday. I am a bit dissapointed but it has been 3 weeks since I have been, and I haven't been able to control what I have been eating while I was away. Back on the wagon now though and I am really going to try hard this week.
I hope you are having a good week.

Good luck studying for the exam Matt, am sure that you'll get rid of that extra weight now you're back on the wagon again.
I love the texture of yellow pea and ham soup, sometimes mushy peas just feel like baby food in texture to me, still love them though. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hey all. Hope you are all doing well??
Nice to see you back matt. I wouldn't worry about gaining whilst you have been away. It is very difficult to try and maintain a diet when you only have a restricted menu. You do need to study though.
I imagine you are still losing weight fmess, with all that running around you are doing. I am terrible for eating veggies, I am convinced that my body is used to living with no nutirents or vitamins as I am nowhere near 5 a day... I am probably not even 5 a week.
I am very excited about the april holiday. Even OH is starting to get excited about it which makes me even more excited.
:j
My dad said that I should weigh myself after a starve day as it will be better than weighing myself after eating normally. It kinda makes sense so I am weighing myself early tomorrow morning before I head off to work (day shifts this week). Fingers crossed.
I think I will keep going regardless of the results as I have noticed my trousers getting less tight around the thighs and waist so I think it might be working.

Wow... I am feeling remarkably unexercised. Scuby is doing her massive swim for charity, fmess is doing a 10km walk and I have done pretty much no exercise apart from working (which in fairness is pretty energetic).
:embarasse
OH is still on the stag do. Lost his mobile today, but did eventually find it again.
Money wise... spent £20 of the budget today but I don't know if OH will give me a tenner back as I bought him carling which was cheap in morries.
Hope everyone else is doing okay. See you all soon.

hey
My weight loss has stalled as I am not being so good with the eating. I can feel my enthusiasm for the diet slipping but think the exercise is keeping me from putting on too much weight. I need to find that enthusiasm again as I'm over half way towards my total aimIt is weigh in day tomorrow so fingers crossed!
I think your weighing in after a starve day is a good plan too
Another busy day today, school then marking then tutoring. Glad its nearly the weekend and I will definitely have a lie in on Saturday and Sunday.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

In my case there is no current weight loss going on but I assume thats down to muscle building having switched to the swimming which is using different sets to the running. Need to actually concentrate on my running this month I think, my 3mile run is on the 23rd and I still can't run more than 0.75mile without needing to stop (though I do maintain this is down to there being so many hills/steeply sloping sections on my routes) and I know I can easily cover the 1.5km for the indoor swim on the 21st. Think I need to find a running event for autumn though to keep me motivated over summer now. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Wow fmess... I have only just realised from your total that you have lost over a stone!!!! That is absolutely amazing!!!!
:j
I would normally have a massive "blow-out" meal like a pizza or something then start the diet from scratch after that. Personally, I always find I get a renewed enthusiasm for a diet if I eat something that feels unhealthy. (that is probably extremely backwards but it works for me).
So weighed myself and I have lost 4lbs this week which is pretty good I think. It's made me quite happy so hopefully it keeps going in the right direction. Only 68lbs to go!!
I can't believe you aren't impressed with being able to run three-quarters of a mile without stopping. I wish I could do that. I can't even run one-tenth of that.
You are doing brilliantly and you will manage to achieve your goals. I am so inspired by all the exercise you are doing and the fact that you have decided to go out there and challenge yourself. I find that amazing.
I think we all just need to remember to be positive.
