I refuse to feel guilty about being comfy. ;)

That said it was gone 5am when I turned my lappy off this morning as I was chatting to a friend on faceache.

Thank you, I honestly don't know how I lost 5lbs without sticking to a diet. I think the scales either lied last week or this week!

    I know, he is a meany ;)

Going to do that and aim for a SFD tomorrow but actually have to leave the house tomorrow to visit my sisters tomorrow (should not involved money) and take my Guides group on a trip (should only be spending Guides money). Hopefully I can resist any personal spends.

Why don't you PM your friend and say you are counting SFDs too and see what she says? I told a couple of friends at work about the October Challenge and they looked at me like I'd gone mad. Not a supportive response but they don't have debts (apart from mortgages) and are always so good with their money. I think they thought when I said I was in debt, it would be a tiny amount. Oh well.

I messaged her and she said no. She is selling her ex-boyfriend's stuff that he didn't want to take with him.
    :o

She is asking me more about it though. Sounds like she does money-saving but doesn't use the forum. She is also sharing tips with me which is brilliant.
    :)

So... anyways... that is the baking all complete (kinda). The mug muffin was a disaster. the nutella burnt to the bottom of the mug and the sponge was really dry. Very disappointing.
    :(

However, the chocolate biscuits look and taste brilliant (as always) and my chocolate brownie is currently in cooking. These should hopefully keep me going over the next week.
    :D

Hope everyone else is having a good saturday.

    hey trix-a-belle.

Thanks for reading. It was this recipe:

    http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/165/microwave-sponge-pudding.aspx

The reviews had people using large mugs and people trying it with nutella so I thought yum yum. But it just didn't work. The other mug recipe needs sunflower oil but I didn't have any.
    :(

    what recipe do you have??

    :)

    5 tbsp sugar
    4 tbsp self raising flour
    2 tbsp cocoa
    4 tbsp sunflower oil
    2 tbsp milk
    1 egg

mix together (in 1 mug) split into 2 mugs (normal coffee mug sized) & microwave on full for 2.5 mins, I find they puff up & leave a bit of avoid part way down which I dig out & put a scope of icecream in, I've added chopped nuts to it before which works ok.

Ah brilliant. Thanks trix-a-belle, I will give that recipe a try. (might visit my mum and see what sort of oil she has).
    :p

No spend day today. hooray!! Mainly cause I haven't changed out of my pyjammies all day.
    :rotfl:

Did a couple of questionnaire things which give me virgin air miles. I know I could have money but there is a masterplan which is why I need the airmiles. (I want to take my mum, auntie and cousin to new york in 2015 but it needs to cost £2000 max. So I am trying to save lots of airmiles so that will contribute towards the cost).
    :o

Thanks to everyone reading. I hope your heads don't hurt too much as I am aware that my thread has no real sensibleness or train of thought around it. (bit like my head actually).

Feeling a bit rough today. It's the sort of day where you begin to question everything you know and feel.

Currently a no-spend day although I had planned pizza for today but OH has just announced he isn't having pizza, he is having chargrills. Whilst it is okay as these are in the freezer, it means we are no longer following a food plan. boo hiss.
    :p

Aim today is to spend nothing and I have travelled as far as my mum's house (not that far) and am now watching masterchef australia (one of our favourite programmes) in order to unwind.

Right now, my usual plan would be to go shopping in order to make me feel better but I am determined to be successful in the October challenge.

My dad has just handed me two big bags of shopping which included some chicken breasts and bbq sauce and some other yummy bits and pieces. Total is probably about £15 but when I offered him money, he said he will add it to my xmas pressie. Hooray.
    :D

OH has now changed his mind and is back having pizza so hooray for that too.
    :D

Still feeling a bit rotten but can't really change anything so just need to accept it and move on.
    :(

Hope everyone else is having a great day.

    Evening

I've had a really grumpy today :( Just feeling like I'm going to be in debt forever and OH isn't really helping. He is supportive but just want him to be a bit into debt busting. I had a real mardy at him earlier, then he produced £1 for me to buy a chocolate bar when I went out this evening. It made my day! How sad! He also said if wouldn't ruin my SFD as it was his money! Bless him! Maybe he does listen!

Well done on resisting the shopping! You have come such a long way, so quickly. Keep up the good work!
