Hope you have a lovely weekend P&F
I will mainly be doing : :EasterBun
But there are car boots on all weekend, so will probably be going to these too. I will try and sell on Saturday if I can be bothered.
Otherwise it is 4 days of free listing, so will be trying to get some more on, and hopefully a bit of chilling too
Little jwil is doing well thanksHe's been lovely to spend time with this week, such a happy little chap.

Hey everyone
Went booting this morning, but didn't buy anything :A
This afternoon I have prepared a load of listings for me, and actually listed 6 for DH.
I've also sorted out a load of stuff to take to the car boot tomorrow.
I am currently doing the relists and will try and get some new listings done over the weekend.
We went grocery shopping earlier and spent a fortune  but got some free nappies which will be used for nursery.
While I've been off, I've been rediscovering my love for cloth nappies. Nursery won't accept them, so I've not used them so much. I'm definitely going to try and make more of an effort again. There's nothing like a little cloth bum in a funky nappy!
The weather's been lovely again today, so fingers crossed it lasts a little longer. If it's good, I'll probably sell at a car boot again on Monday.
Hope everyone's had a good day x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hi Jwil - you're busy as usual I see.
I feel your pain on the grocery shopping (though thankfully nappies are a thing waaay in the distant past) - I also spent a fortune in Mr A yesterday. However, we were entertaining people yesterday and that tends to mean alcohol, not something that normally features in my weekly shop, mainly because I rarely drink any myself.
I am going to give car boots a skip this weekend, I need to prepare more for one and also I don't have any help at the moment and I don't want to do one on my own. The weather is looking a bit dodgy on Monday though (and tomorrow).
Have a lovely day Jwil and everyone.0 -

Hey everyone
Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend.
I sold at car boots on Saturday and Monday. Saturday was ok, but Monday was fab! We cleared out loads of stuff.
Little jwil was a fab helper as well, demonstrating all the toys
P&F I'd always be willing to help if you wanted toWe travel quite a ways to various car boots anyway.
I've been a bit spendyand bought a bundle of cloth nappies. In my defence, they were hugely reduced. I'm going to keep one of each, give some to a friend, and sell the rest and hope to get most of my money back.
I have listed a few items on ebay over the weekend, though I did mainly do relists. I'll have to try and figure out my totals."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi jwil,
that is brilliant with the carboot - and little jwil helping out too :rotfl::rotfl: - so cute!So good both for the money in and stuff cleared out too :T i can't remember if you said what you do with the carboot money? if you split it between you, or put it to one side in a pot like 'home improvements' or 'holidays' or even a 'little jwil' pot for things like the nappies to come out of and to take the burden off you needing to find the money for these things when they come up? We do not have enough things for a carboot on a regular basis - and my Mr seems to have retired from it ages ago :rotfl: but we put the money made into our savings for house stuff - currently a new bathroom is desperately needed
Also you said you spent on nappies - but it was a good spend and as you said you'll get most of the money back :T
Hope the totals are good- is your sig the number of months remaining on this target - and (i'm trying to remember sorry
) did you say you can overpay this target too?

Hi all
I am not sure if i posted this on here or not but i smashed my bay of e target for april achieving over 30 listings :T
I had then committed to 50 items for May. And motivated by this started early - my logic being that i would not have decluttered the things i did without needing to raise the money for a (for us due to the expense) once in a lifetime event we are going to later this year. I have now decided to aim for 100 new listings in May  I collected a final bag of my things from my parents - think there's between 7-10 items in that that i'll need to sort out. I also want to aim for a 100 things as i think i work better with my study with my little decluttering breaks
Hope everyone is well xxCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi Jwil,
Just wanted to say HI and hope you and your family are all well.
I've been busy doing other stuff and have only lurked infrequently in the last week or so. But now I'm back with a vengeance and will be a woman on a mission for the month of May.
I plan to update my diary tomorrow with my plans and targets. I hope to be an ebay whirlwind in the next few weeks.
Hope everything is OK with you and that you had a nice Easter break.0 -

Hey DDFW, with the car boot money we split it into 'mine' 'dh', 'joint' and 'house'.
Mine and DH goes to us respectively. Joint goes in a pot for trips away, and house goes to Dh and his brother. My money just goes into my purse to use day to day. I don't tend to get a lot as most of my stuff goes on ebay.
Yes, it's the number of months left for this target. I can overpay but can't at the mo due to no extra money.DedicatedDFW wrote: »Hi all

You've done so well, I'm really impressed!peaceandfreedom wrote: »Hi Jwil,

Hey P&F, hope you had a lovely Easter.
I've been busy too, but need to get back on with it all."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hey everyone, sorry for my absence again!
I get behind, then think I'll catch up before I post, and then get further behind!
Anyway, I've lost the plot with where I am for April. I'll have to get on board again for may.
I have had quite a few sales this month, so am very pleased with that.
DH and I between us had a good weekend last weekend, meaning I had 37 items to pack yesterday
It did however clear 4 banana boxes of stuff, all gone, never to return (hopefully!) :T :T :T
We've had a few ebay numpty problems too. Both DH and I got supposedly damaged item problems, one has been returned (DH's), the other (mine) hasn't. Who knows!
Then DH had an extremely abusive message from someone abroad, about an item he has listed. They said it was listed wrong, he was an idiot and was very aggressive and full of swearing! Did not respond to that one, promptly blocked them and reported them to ebay. Their feedback left for others is full of negatives, so it looks like they are just a numpty who hopefully should be kicked off soon. The item has it stamped on the bottom what it is too, so we know the listing is correct  Who's the idiot there?
We've got a lot of changes going on at work at the moment and finally are at a stage where we are finding out what is happening (it all started before I went on maternity leave !) There was a moment of relief this week, finding I actually have a job, then a moment of panic, where it looked like there may be a pay cut. Luckily that isn't the case. So it looks like I'm still here for another year or so thankfully!
Finances generally are still screwy, so I need to carry on and try and make inroads into it again this month. We are hoping to go away camping for a couple of nights at the end of the month, so need to make enough to cover this, though the 'joint' car boot pot should cover a lot of it.
Probably will try and sell at least once this weekend at a car boot, maybe twice if I'm feeling brave.
Sorry for the marathon update, hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
