Finances generally are still screwy, so I need to carry on and try and make inroads into it again this month. We are hoping to go away camping for a couple of nights at the end of the month, so need to make enough to cover this, though the 'joint' car boot pot should cover a lot of it.

Probably will try and sell at least once this weekend at a car boot, maybe twice if I'm feeling brave.

Sorry for the marathon update, hope everyone is well :)

Wow, well done on the amazing ebay sales. :T Pity about the numpties but when you have that volume of sales / listings, the weirdos are bound to pop up now and then.

Glad to hear your job is safe as well, that must be such a relief. Hope it all setttles down now for you.

Good luck at the car boots - are you feeling better now and has baby Jwil got over his recent bouts of illness as well. They do seem to have phases where they lurch from one lurgy to another. :)

Well done on the sales jwil. :T :T
I had another epic fail with listings this month for me-I did manage about a dozen sales despite them being relists.
After my blood tests tomorrow I shall start on some new meds-hopefully I will feel more human again and make up for lack of new listings this month.
I did manage the grocery challenge with £60 to spare-so April wasn't a total fail for me.

Thanks P&F :) We do (touch wood) all seem to be better now for the time being. It's a good feeling :T

Little jwil only woke twice last night - a nightmare for a lot of people, but pure luxury for me :rotfl: He went down again very quickly too :D

Thanks tattycath. Hope you start feeling better soon. £60 on grocery savings is fab! It's always nice when relists sell too, especially if they've been on a few times.

    Good luck for May :)

Right, new month, new start :T

A few things have messed up a bit financially today which is a little annoying. It's all stuff that needed to be paid, but it's gone out at the wrong time which is annoying. A bit more shuffling required.

I sold another load on ebay yesterday :T So that's the fifth banana box emptied this week, hurrah!

Today I've had a quick look, and the 100 99p listings are there again, so I've got til 13th when the changes come in to use them up. I'm going to have a good bash at them on 2 accounts and really try and clear a lot of my low value stuff.

So that means, I'm aiming for 200 x 99p items, and I'll want to put some higher value stuff on too, so my target for May will be 300 items in total I think

I've got the majority of the 99p listings prepared already, so I'm going to try and bash them today and see how far I can get.

    Hope everyone is well :)

Well I managed 39 items today so not bad. I also got 28 on for DH so that's good too.

They are suggesting it's free listing again all weekend so I shall try and take advantage of that, but may just do relists.

I'm thinking of selling at a car boot on Saturday and Monday again, so if I do that, there won't be an awful lot of willingness to ebay as well :o

Hi everyone - jwil - so glad baby is sleeping better - makes you feel a whole lot better doesn't it.

I have had to put a massive emergency on my credit card so will be ebaying like mad for a while to pay it off. So frustrating when I am so close to paying off my loan but this cant be helped as it is really not negotiable. I still have my saddles to sell which I am really going to have to do now so will get them advertised in the correct places this weekend as I don't think I will get their worth on ebay.

hope everyone else is ok and we have a nice bank holiday weekend.

Thanks Lam, lovely to see you again!

Sorry to hear about the emergency, good luck for your sales. I'm sure you'll soon clear it again.

Thanks Daisystar :) Last night wasn't so good again, but I think he had tummy ache so there was a reason for it.

    How are you getting on?
