DDFW, on my diary you mentioned an ebay challenge - what is the challenge exactly or do we set our own challenge and then do our best to [STRIKE]ignore it[/STRIKE] try and meet it? :D

I think jwil and myself are going to try and list 100 items next month, not sure what DDFWs target is. I think we all pledge what we will try to achieve on bay of e in march and then motivate each other to succeed. :D

OK, since 100 would be a ridiculously high target for an ebay slouch like me, I will go for 31 items - an average of 1 per day. Let's make it happen. :j

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I love your analysis :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: *proudly announces* I will hit target this month :T and i may have hit it last month - it was a whole lotta listing going on :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yep as TC says we all set our own target and then report back - i like it as its got the target but as we all have different commitments then we have the freedom to set an amount that is still motivational and a stretch for us :D eg i could *not* do 100 newly listed items this month as
    1) i don't have a single thing ready to list
    2) i;ve decluttered my bedroom totally and that was a main source of bayable goodies
    3) i'm decluttering the kitchen this month - i can't think there are too many bayable items - the kitchen has already gone through several declutters too so no equipment that isn't being used

So for me to list 100 items would be demotivating as i have no idea where i'd find that many although if someone donated 100 items to me to sell i'd be :j

31 sounds a good number p&f i think i will join you with that :D

  • Hi jwil!

I keep meaning to come over but seem to get lost on the path between our threads. Here I am (finally). Sorry it has taken so long.

I'm sorry your little man has been distubed at night and I hope it settles down soon.

So what's this Ebay challenge, then? 100 items in a month?

    Take care of yourself. xxx

  • Hi All,

Lam - lovely to see you again - only you can decide what the right thing to do with the saddle is :) - i agree 100 items  i'm aiming for 31 which P&F set - so 1 a day for the month and i'll be lucky to hit that - the kitchen declutter thus far has revealed several carboot items and 1 bayable

PB *waves* :D we all set our own target - go on commit to 100 - you know you want to ;)

jwil - i spot a sig and pic change i think ? All good :)

Hmm, well, I'm currently aiming for 5 a day (like my fruit 'n' veg :rotfl:) which I have achieved today :T :T :T :T :T. I know that doesn't seem like a lot to many, but to me, it's quite a lot. I guess that will be harder on days when I'm working, so perhaps it should vary: 5 items for non-work days and 1 item or more for work days. So we will say 31 x 5 = 155 maximum.

Erm, or maybe not! *Faints*

Ha ha, if you get that much stuff listed on ebay I'll buy you a virtual pint. :rotfl:

I haven't got started yet but it's not quite March yet. It's March on Saturday though - better get going. :D
