I'm amazed its free listing again. Trying to get a few bits on again. A few bits I listed the other day are selling so fingers crossed they go up a bit.
Hope everyone is well x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
morning - how are you and baby doing? I have a cold and cough now - have managed the whole of winter without a sniffle and now its arrived.
hope the storms are not too bad - are you under water?
Free listing this weekend and I have one expensive item that I have ummed and aahed whether to sell - its a saddle I don't use and I am not prepared to sell it for nothing as its a very good make and worth a lot of money to the right person. I will have to use a courier to deliver as I am so worried about damage and have realised that it just wont fit either of my horses and I really should sell it.
Thanks for the heads up-I have just done my re-lists.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Hi All,
Lam - i agree with jwil - if it is an item i am happy to keep my start price is the price i am happy to sell the item forIf it is not something you can use and someone else could and will probably get alot of pleasure out of having what sounds like a lovely item then i would say just to make sure you get the money you are happy with
Jwil - i should have said i thought it would be FLW as tuesday for 5days meant ending sunday ready for FLW.
I also wanted to let you know just to save you preparing anything - i listed some make-up the other day but it only allowed me to list items which were new.
I understand the way you list things jwil with the fees as i think you are good at knowing what will sell- my stuff is more hit and miss than that so i wouldn't risk having to pay more fees especially as my items are pretty low value
I have been quite ill this last hour _pale_ but i think this is from being ill thursday so am hoping that means i'll start to feel much better now

Thanks, I don't have anything like that to sell, but haven't had an issue before, so maybe that's something new or just in a particular category
I have however successfully sold used cloth nappies which are also meant to be new. It's naughty but I took the risk and everyone else does. Just made it clear in the title and description that they were used.DedicatedDFW wrote: »

Nope, my things mostly are low value and quite a lot doesn't sell on the first attempt. I am always happy to pay one listing fee and then relist for free.
It's probably not good business sense, but I'm not a business. (And probably explains why I am skint)

Hey everyone,
Been another rubbish week with more sickness bugs. When are these nursery germs going to stop?
So I've been feeling pretty rubbish and not achieved much. I did get a few listings up yesterday.
We have a week off next week, and little jwil will still be in nursery for a bit of the time, so I'm hoping to be well enough to achieve some stuff.
I have had some more sales which is good. I really don't seem to be keeping on track with things though so not so good. I need to try and sort this out.
Hope everyone is well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Crazy, it's free listing again this weekend! I'll at least do my relists but try and get some new on again.
Have a good weekend everyone"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
That's good to know, I have a coupe of bits to go on eb@y.
Hope you have a good weekend.x.0 -
Hey jwil,
I was surprised it was FLW again - good luck for sales :T
I hope you're feeling much better now - i *do* wish you were within distance for me to pop round and help out too x
Is this your week off? Have you anything planned? Hope you get lots of rest as well as achieving all you want to as well xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
jwil and DDFW it really motivates me having a bay of e challenge. Admittedly, I've not really done much this month due to ill health, procrastinating
etc
So if you're both up for it I'd like us to have a challenge regularly.
I have so much junk ( stuff that would be great to put on bay of e) :rotfl:
And I desperately need to declutter and raise finances (I have a list on my thread).
Hope you are both well and have no more car problems!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Yep, off this week. We've had quite a productive day as little jwil was still in nursery.

An ebay challenge sounds fab! I didn't do well this month either.
Let's go for it for March. What is everyone aiming for?
I think I will aim for 100 new listings. (Not counting relists)."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
