Hey DDFW, well done on the decluttering, I think it's never ending really. Sometimes I keep something, then a while later on decide I don't need it any more. It's so satisfying seeing things organised and with space though.

Fingers crossed your car gets fixed soon.

As for me, yesterday didn't go quite as planned but still managed to list 13 new 99p items :T

Car has been to the garage and they've replaced the part, so fingers crossed it works. It felt a little smoother yesterday, and I braved the motorway today with no issues, but it was an intermittent problem and didn't happen all the time, so only time will tell.

Anyway, I got home, and my phone was ringing with an unknown number, so I ignored it. When I picked up the message it was from a quiz show that I'd applied to, offering me an audition to take part  So I had to ring around work and nursery trying to arrange a day off and an extra session for little man.

Very exciting. I'll probably be completely rubbish, but it would be great if I managed to have a go. It's not a big prize so even if I won it wouldn't make any difference to my finances, but it would be fun to get on there.

In further good news, I've won the lottery! I've just had the email but can't check because I'm at work. A sneaky google suggests it's only going to be a couple of £ rather than millions. Oh well.

We've also had feedback from the person who was suggesting they hadn't received their item saying it had finally arrived, so that's good news too, and I'm grateful for them for waiting as it's been a month since it was sent (abroad).

I've still got a claim to put into RM for INR, but I'm starting to wonder if I've left it too late. I must do that. They will probably reject it anyway as it was around £2 over the limit, but I shall try anyway.

Today I'm in work all day so no time to do anything really other than catch up on surveys in my break. I've got to go to the dentist though, so probably won't have much time.

    Hope everyone is well.

YAY to cars now working and winning the lottery :)

I am going to try for £200 ebay in Feb - not sure if I even have that much stuff lol but the house is such a tip at the moment I am going rummaging this weekend :)
  • Wow jwil how exciting with the quiz show - you must let us know if / when you will be on :T

Good news on the car :T and hope it stays that way too - and on your lotto win too :T any chance ofsharing some good luck here ? :)

I would've though you'd be covered up to the post offices upper limit on the item wouldn't you? I hope so - i was in such a distracted state of mind with the car not working i used the wrong postage for an item :(

Thats an excellent target Lam - i don't have that much to sell either but it is a challenge after all :D And all the things i am finding to sell are carboot stuff rather than bay of e due to size / weight v value issue.

Good luck with that target LAM, although I've got tonnes of stuff, I've not got anything near the values I want, but I just keep trying anyway in the hope that something gets a crazy bidding frenzy and makes me rich :D

I'll share some lucky dust around, but whilst I don't mean to be greedy, I'd love a little more on the lottery :D

I'm pretty convinced I won't get on the show, but if I do, I'll only tell people if I'm any good :rotfl:

I have successfully claimed for something over the limit before, but I have also heard of them clamping down on people who use the wrong service and not getting anything. I'll have to assume I'm not getting anything, and treat it as a bonus if I'm successful.

Oh, peeps on the ebay board are suggesting free listing this weekend, not heard anything myself though.

Tomorrow I have a load of stuff to list for DH. If I get time I shall try and do a few bits for me too.

I must sit down and work out next months finances tomorrow too, and see if I've managed to achieve anything this month.

We need to get our guttering cleaned out as it's leaking badly in the rain, it looks like there's a blockage somewhere. DH pulled out a load of moss over the weekend, but it hasn't helped much. DH has spoken to one company today and they suggest around £35 so we must try and get that done if we can. Fingers crossed that will solve it and we don't have to replace anything (DDFW I know you feel my pain on that one too!)
