Will be xmas shoping later this week, not looking forward to it but needs to be done.
DH went to the shops today but only spent £5.00vand the money came from the food tin so today is a NSD :j
Don't expect there to be many NSD this month but it's a good way to start the month off.
Not sure whats for dinner tonight but it will be something quick and easy as I am feeling very tired today.0 -
Another NSD today. Did buy food but it came from the food cash so don't class this as a spend.0

Haven't checked online banking yet but have added up my receipt from my Xmas shopping trip and spent £423.34. I estimate another £300 still to be bought so all in all I am fairly happy with.0

Heya, I've been reading your diary and just wanted to say hi. We have a bit in common, the urge to save and having fibro so I'll be following with interest.
Massive congrats to the hubby, I hope this helps out with the saving.0 -

Been MIA this past week. Been busy getting more Xmas presents. Done a bit of wrapping as well. Very sore these last few days so having a lazy weekend.
I have no idea where we are on spend but I know we have gone into our OD
I get paid on Thursday and OH on the 28th. I am sure most of my wages will go to paying the OD and the rest of the presents.
Did some spending this morning. £20 on petrol and £58 in Ada but that was a mixture of food and Xmas presents.
Just going to mop the kitchen floor as I spilt something when making lunch and it's gone sticky.
While that's drying going to try and see what I have spent and how much into the OD we are.0 -
Kitchen floor done. Decided to wrap a few more presents.
Only need to get 2 x £15 vouchers for local shopping voucher.
2 x £30 cash to put in Xmas cards
£20 to put in another card.
Dressing gown to buy for DH's gran (about £15)
£10 book token
Small gift for DC's to give to various relatives (6)
Then we should be done.0 -
Hi Nymphadora, you sound like you're getting on great with the christmas shopping - go you!!
Bummer that you have ended up in your overdraft, but its an expensive time of year. Do you have an agreed overdraft? If so I guess thats better than ending up going over unauthorised.
Hope you get the last few bits and peices of shopping and then you can say your done!
