Happy Friday....:j
And a short day for me as I've taken a couple of hours off this afternoon to do my cleaning.. unless steph comes over to do it....??
I thought this will then leave me free tomorrow to enjoy my last 'man free' day.. sorry brogs... as OH will be back late tomorrow night..
Managed to walk Sunday, Monday and Thursday about 11 miles in total so all good for the fat burning. unfortunately my fondness for wine and cheese puts pay to me actually losing any weight.. puzz must try harder...!!!
Money News..
Been spending.. but only from savings.. booked 5 panto tickets using cash that my friend and I save in every month and haven't actually been away apart from a night in London last year. So its built up nicely.. (3 of the tickets are for her and her dd's...) we are also looking at going to the westend for a musical in October..I just wish it wasn't so expensive.. I hate parting with savings...!
I received a call from Natwest following my letter requesting a default, she agreed with me and will investigate so watch this space... Also now BC have sold me to PRA I believe that should also be defaulted.. will be keeping an eye on that one.. If it is then it just leaves me one creditor who I know won't default me as they are charging interest albeit at a low rate after my FOS complaint.. so I may have to try and save to get this one paid off...
Nothing else exciting to report.. a quiet month for me as I have 3.... social occasions in October... most unlike Puzz...!
Have a good weekend..

Is this  or ??????
I am a bit late reading this as the ladies here had a man free day yesterday too which they were looking forward to.......
I can't understand why any lady would be happy to be missing vision, leadership, massive intelligence, not to say good looks and attractive personality in the house!!
Girls will be girls!!

:T Bit of result to report today.. Just opened a letter from Natwest and they agree they should have defaulted the loan and are backdating it.... they also sent me £50 compensation...:T
Other money news.. lovely mother is also giving me £150 as she spent that on my brother recently and likes to be fair...:T
Now for the third piece of good news I would like to report a lottery win.. unfortunately this hasn't happened yet.. but you never know..!!!
Generally I am a little all over the place at the moment.. I do suffer from PTSD and GA and my anxiety is definitely getting the better of me at the minute.. Will keep battling forwards.. in the rain....:(
Not much else to report on hump day..

Gosh the time is flying and Autumn is upon us again....
So what has the puzz been up to...
Not a lot really.... normal work, housework, mum taxi etc etc... Have had a little spend on a couple of household items, 2 throws for the sofa's to keep us warm on those chilly evenings and a new lounge bin.. get me how exciting....!!!
Money news..
Lovely mother gave me £150 which is still in its envelope, no plans for it at the moment.
Payday tomorrow :j I have about £40 left so will split that between the NY fund and the RAC fund tomorrow.
I have also got £70 cash which I have saved over the last few weeks and put aside to get dd's hair done as it hasn't been cut since August 14 I think...!!!! Her choice not me being mean...:rotfl:
I have my new noddle report in today and it shows a lovely red default from Natwest following my complaint, back dated to jan 15 so that's 7 of my 9 debts defaulted. Have temporarily lost BC who I am happy to battle with as this debt has now been sold on, so waiting to see how it is reported. Not sure what to do about the last one, as they still charge interest so won't want to default me.. will ponder once I know about BC.
Still out walking the streets, less now and once the dark nights draw in I shall resort to my treadmill instead.. We did manage over 50 walks (average 3-4 miles each time) since April so not too bad.. shame I am still as chubby..!!! I do have nice legs though.. :rotfl:
I have 3 social occasions in October, and 2 are back to back. I am not good at going out 2 nights running but can't cancel or change either....Will need to squirrel away some pennies to pay for them.. The 3rd social is going to the westend to a musical with my best friend, we save each month so won't cost my normal bank account any money.. Also got a hotel booked for the night but think I will probably cancel and save us the money so we may be able to go away next year.
dd wasn't well last week so has been home since Tuesday eve, has gone to school today coughing like a good un.. bless her. Love my baby girl..
And that's about it for my round up of the exciting life of Puzz...

So much for I have £40 left... another letter from school demanding money so down to £20 which I have split today between RAC and NY saving pots..
Updated bank account and moved savings across into the pots, that's about all I can do with it for now...!!
SC payment will go off to creditors early next week and then my % of debt paid will go up.. :T.. unfortunately I won't fall into a different number K this month but will be into the 46's in November..Can't wait to get to 25% paid but that's a few months off yet..
Hope your enjoying some sunshine wherever you are....!

Just one word......WOW :j;);););)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Being serious for a moment Puzz (not that I wasn't being serious then) having read your recent posts I am still totally confused, even more so by your Barklaycard / PRAT situation.
I think we would all agree that interest would stop on a debt following default and 'termination.' Basically the contract between ourselves and the predator has failed.....we are in default.....so be it.If the debt is sold (Barklaycard are no longer party to it) then I would be interested to know what right any debt collection agency has to charge interest? I have not seen this happen with any of mine Puzz. No DCA (I have had loads) has tried to collect interest. Surely there would have to be a signed agreement from me to allow a DCA with a second hand debt to charge? I don't believe it happens.
I have a debt with PRAT and on their website this morning saw:-
'....once we have taken legal ownership or become the nominated servicer for these debts.......'
So....PRAT don't just buy debts, they service and collect for other predators. It maybe the latter with Barklays. Are you sure that Barklays has sold the debt or have they just 'nominated' PRAT to collect? Unfortunately if the debt should still be owned by Barklays, you may still have 'never-appearing-default-syndrome' and 'non-stoppable-interestitis.'
Sorry to be a bit miserable but the only solution to beat the boys in blue may be self-management and starving them of ackers. I know some people have beaten Barklays this way. Obviously this decision is not to be taken lightly and this situation with the Barklay bar-stewards is only one consideration amongst a host of others.
It's not the end of the world but very irritating  !!
Have a good day lovely-legs
