Puzz tries again.. this time with claws... My DMP Journey. I will get debt free...

So last night on my Spanish island...as much as I love it here I am ready for home. We have come under budget by about £100 but still have the duty free airport gauntlet to run in the morning....
I am currently sitting on my balcony consuming the rest of the bottle of vino purchased with dinner but then brought home..very mse....
Back to UK tomorrow, can't wait to log on to my banking and move my money around.....sad.....and update my Sig...I don't know when I will be back but have been coming here for 25 years so know I will return.
Home to budgets, washing, housework, work and dd's exam results plus a few lifestyle changes.....Will also need to shift the lbs put on whilst away!!!!

So... its raining...I hate soggy feet in the summer..!!

Well time flies.. holiday done and very relaxing it was too and no doubt tan will have vanished by this time next week...! Oh well.. Came in under budget for the holiday and brought back about 50 euros.. Did have a little splurge on dd in the duty free.....

Today..results day... Ideally dd would have liked AAB... but as previously mentioned her level of dedication to revision is .. a tad mardy.. shall we say.... So she is very lucky to have got away with ABBC.... The C is a disappointment and she may redo that bit and the A is in the subject she was going to drop... As far as I can make out, she should be able to apply for most of the uni's she liked apart from her favourite one.. She doesn't seem awfully bothered by it all... I shall no doubt be more informed at a later date..!!

She is also off to summer school at one of the uni's Sunday week, 4 nights without my baby....!!! and I think OH is away too... peace and quiet for me and my 2 puzz's...

Was back to work yesterday, back to back meetings...yawn... but now not in office until Monday and breaking myself in gently..!!! Have my best friend over tomorrow night for nachos and wine and then a weekend of more washing and ironing no doubt...!! My poor machine hasn't stopped since Tuesday...

Weighed in 3lbs over Tuesday morning but down 2lbs already so pleased with that and will start walking again next week.

Right sig updated not quite up to 20% but very close....!

Your Dd's results were still pretty good and at least she can still study what she wants at Uni hopefully. Wish I did that well in school all those years back.

I also have washing on the line and tonnes of housework to do. Its never ending!.

Hola.. sorry wrong country...


Monday... DONE.. I do hate a Monday... The weekend's go soo fast....

Friday - friend over for wine.. (too much) and nachos.... late night so very tired Saturday...

Saturday - washing, washing and more washing...

Sunday - Ironing..... and went for a walk... 3.5 miles..

And today.. work...

Came back from holiday and discovered a leaky overflow outside over the flat roof.. no idea why OH hadn't noticed it.. stomped my feet a little as he's not very quick at getting things fixed but he has done it this afternoon.... :T So I no longer have a water feature in the garden..

No money news, trying not to spend much.. bought many reduced items yesterday and today. Will need to update my freezer inventory and get eating...!!!

No plans this week, just work, walking, and no doubt more flamin washing..!!

Another Monday.. nearly done...!! And I've been AWOL all week, naughty Puzz....

Well last week was as predicted lots of washing and ironing but all holiday stuff caught up and put away until next time....

Both OH and dd are away.. its very weird having no people in the house.. just lots of cats...looking after the 2 furry boys next door although one of them is mostly in with me anyway now his legs are better...

Weekend of visiting relatives and house stuff.... no walking.. We did manage 3 last week but think this week we may be rained off and I have some evening work to do anyway.

Have bought dd some new bedding and curtains to put together for her return on Thursday evening, so that was £75...:eek:.. but OH paid £50...

Nothing much planned for the week, house staying nice and tidy with just me in it... washing machine is still going as i'm catching up with towels/bedding/and all the clothes I have removed from the chair and floor in dd's room....

No money news... Have got about £50 left in the bank so should be okay as payday is this Thursday... Just finished one RM survey so that's another £5 Love2shop voucher for Christmas and I have another one to start today....
Still collecting my nectar points, and have just got back into surveys with them so up to £76...

Its absolutely pouring with rain outside so I shall hide at home unless it stops in which case I may go and do an evening visit tonight...

Well done to your DD - not bad if she hadn't worked as much as she could have, she could still pull it off for her favourite uni if she puts her mind to it this year, but good that she likes others too. I think its a really hard time for them - almost adults with 12 years school behind them - I know when I was at school I lost momentum a bit by the last year!


WE have had a couple of horrible wet grey days too so haven't managed to finish clearing up in garden after our mammoth two days of hedge trimming. Bright and sunny today though

hi Steph and Noah, Thanks for popping in and saying hi.. I do read your diary updates but am shabby at posting... puzz must do better...

:j dd comes home today.....:j not sure where I am meeting her yet but hopefully will have her home by 6.30...

:j And its payday.....

Done the books ready for next month, I have £55 left from August and a £5.95 refund due so will transfer £60 to my RAC fund for next spring when the refund hits, as it hasn't got much in it at the moment....

I am going to try very hard to have a similar amount left at the end of September so I can transfer the same again, that's the plan at the moment...!!!

dd's curtains are up and new bedding ironed...and on bed.. I don't normally iron bedding but as it was new, washed and tumbled I though I would make it look nice for her....

Must go and collect my upgraded phone from the phone shop soon as it came in on Monday.. oops....

But for now off to work... got to earn a living...!!
