Busy, busy...morning of cleaning....afternoon of preparing for tomorrow's boot fair...my plan to empty the loft failed slightly as when I loaded the car with all the stuff I had collected it was almost full:eek:
so only 3 bags brought down and about 20 boxes and bags still up there....so another boot fair will be done in the summer...
At least although i miss my lie in tomorrow..6.30 boot fair starts, I will have Monday to laze around.... Next job on the list is getting organised for Venice, can't wait apart from having to organise everything at home for dd and oh...my lovely mum has made it clear this is her treat, watertaxi from airport, meals, drinks and gondola...She has already paid for our taxi to and from the airport this side and paid for the hotel...love my mum...xxx
Right it must be wine o'clock as I need to get to bed early tonight..yawn....just hope I make some pennies....Christmas 2020 £109

Hi Puzz
Regards the snails, apparently they are good at getting back to you, every so often we scoop ours up and put them in the dustbin the night before emptying day. My principle is that there is a food source there for them, they will go somewhere where they can work their magic. I try not to think about the compressions machine in the dustbin truck:eek:
Hope it's a good day for/at the boot saleDebt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

Hi sazzie thanks for popping in! I am still playing lob the snail but may take your advice and pop them in the bin pre collection day...
Up since 5  and bad night's sleep with OH's snoring.... Made £125 after entry fee so not a bad mornings work but I am shattered now and my selfish OH has fallen right into my bad books, I'll explain more tomorrow as too tired to type...Christmas 2020 £109

Well not sure where that long weekend went...!!! Oh well at least its nearly the middle of the week and only 3 more working days for me before my week off...:T
OH was in my bad books so got the silent treatment for 24 hours but i'm rubbish at staying cross so have let him off this time...bloomin men....
So off to Venice on Monday... better start sorting out clothes and getting my money in the right place to cash up into euro's. I won't be taking loads.. good job as I don't have it.. :rotfl:but do want to be able to buy my mum a lunch or dinner and a few glasses of vino...!!!
Boot fair was a success, weather perfect and so busy, seemed to bring a lot home as well so not sure what we sold to make £125... but got lots more so will be doing at least one more this summer and it is money for nothing...
Appraisal at work tomorrow, well obviously I know I'm wonderful so why they don't just give me a huge payrise and have done with it I don't know.....:D
Nothing much else to report, all my plants are growing well, especially my mixed lettuces they look so cute.. if its possible for a vegetable to look cute...!!! OH better remember to water them whilst I 'm away or he'll be sleeping in the spare room on my return.......
No money news, have paid my 7th payment to SC which will go to the creditors on the 25th and fingers crossed I should then be into the 56k's.... slowly, slowly..... but of course with my huge payrise I will be able to up the payments..... that is so not going to happen its not funny...!!!! I shall have to wait for that lottery win... but I will be able to increase them slightly at me next review courtesy of last years rather late small payrise... plus I have 30 payments left to the loan of mum then I can throw that at it as well.. Hoping to bring my dfd from sept 2022 to summer 2020....earlier if possible.. we shall see...

A wet and soggy Thursday here and looks like this weather is here to stay for awhile.. its also following me to Venice so at least I'll feel at home...!!!
Have moved money out of my venice savings into the bank and now need to withdraw and change some of it up into euro's that's todays job...Oh still says he's giving me some money for my hols but it hasn't been forthcoming yet so if I get some it will be a bonus and I will always find a home for it..!! I still have the £100 he gave me from his win at the races.. I'm sure me and dd will spend that in the summer...
I have also booked my BG boiler service, always a little nervous of this as it has been condemmed in the past and is rather elderly.. a bit like me..:rotfl:Have also booked my car in for its MOT on the same day, may as well get it over with as she is also an elderly lady.... I will have my fingers firmly crossed on the 30th May....
Have just booked transfer for outward journey from airport to hotel, my mum wanted us to do a watertaxi all the way but the hotel doesn't offer this, having looked at the weather forecast I have presuaded her that it will be best to be met at the airport driven to the private watertaxi place nearer the hotel and just do the 10 min private watertaxi... just the 140 euro's.. which she will pay for...If its pelting with rain when we arrive I can see her patience not lasting if we had to hang about and try and sort it on arrival.. so job done....
Up to £10.40 on one poll now, still haven't done many other surveys, maybe i'll crack on with some today.....
Had my appraisal yesterday, all went well, unfortunately being a structured pay scale there is no where for me to go, even though I am wonderful...!!! but hopefully we will get a cost of living payrise at some point during the year and that will have to do... so no big increases to my dmp payments planned.
Now DD has finally decided she doesn't want to attend prom we can use that money to pay for our tickets to see Les Mis in London after the exams... it does cost £140:eek: and that's not top price seats.. but we both love the film so that will be something to look forwards to in June/July...
Right onwards and upwards....
Puzz.

Wow what an amazing selection of bargain food ! You will only need a few fresh things to see you through the month. Now I feel I should go and do mine !
Nothing as exciting as whats in yours though
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
Have just spent £140 on theatre tickets.. I do wish they weren't so expensive, we only live 20 minutes by train from central london so could go more often, bar the price...!!!! But as no holiday this year we shall do a few other things instead...
Last working day before my 9 days off.. :j Still haven't even made a start on what i'm taking with me... guess I have the weekend to get sorted as we go on monday...!
Today's job is to do the meal plan so I can go and do the food shop Friday morning after landing home Thursday evening.. so need to be organised.... I'm also hosting a big night in for mcmillion on the friday evening so will have all the cleaning/hoovering and washing to do as OH's has an allergy to it... :rotfl:
A few statements in , no surprises luckily.. only creation still adding the £10ish interest, but I can't moan at paying £10 interest on a 57k debt can I...
Have failed spectacularly on the diet and exercise front, but have made a promise with myself that come monday 19th we are going into battle.. I will then have just under 3 months to get my body beautiful before the wedding... watch this space...Christmas 2020 £109

Hi Mara,
Thanks for popping by! I have a bit of an obsession with buying reduced food, has to be 50% or more off.. and it does mean we end up eating all sorts of weird and wonderful things... I then shop from the freezer and as you say buy veg/salad whatever to go with what I've planned... its keeping away from the reduced aisles I have trouble with.....Christmas 2020 £109
