 I know there is a really good reason why I spend as little time in my office or with my colleagues.. because they are all numpties.. what is it with women workers who have to tittle tattle and blow everything out of proportion... I remember now why I like my own company so much... I was going to go in the office tomorrow but think I'll avoid it till monday...

Thanks Steph, yes I was also relieved that dd wasn't bothered about the holiday as it sort of crept up on me, and I would much rather have time to save for things now... (new mindset..) than have used money that I would rather leave for other things... So a stopathome holiday for us this summer.. If the sun comes out I will have to dig out a deckchair and pretend....!!

Still waiting for one poll.. payment in 28 days has now turned to no payment yet and 38 days.. they say they are waiting for funds.. well so am I...... will keep you posted...

No other news... expecting a default from m & s this month so that will be 5 of my cc's defaulted, not sure what happens with the loan and overdraft... Just barclays and creation still doing ap markers so they will be getting a snotty letter next month..

Roll on Thursday.. I'm off Friday so a long weekend... and only 2 days work next week.. :T

Off to collect DD shortly from yet another day of revision at school, bless her she's so tired she could do with a few days off.. luckily she will get some next week too..

And done another evening overtime visit but unlikely to get paid pre venice for it so it can start my 2015 hopeful holiday fund... and will do the other 3 during this month..

:TIts Friday for me today... yeah to a long weekend and a very short week next week....

Got off my backside and went and did the other evening overtime visit last night so that's 2 out of 4 done.. If I go into the office later and put my claim in, then harass my boss to process it, I could get the money in April's pay... Will see how the day goes..!!!

Planning on getting on with some decluttering on my days off/weekend and enjoying some sunshine if it stays out...!!! Have 3 dates for boot fairs and MUST do at least 1 to get me started and then will try and do a few during the summer...

First job is tomorrow to set up my clothes rail and gather all the clothes I already have sorted and iron etc, I find things sell better when nicely presented.... If OH is around for some of the weekend he needs to mow our lawn as it hasn't been done yet and is huge..!! Also want to plant out some more seeds, go me and my gardening...!! Will also try and get in the loft and drag some more tat/treasures down for sorting/throwing and selling...

So that's my current plan......................... but today its work.. well sort of....not sure what time DD is finishing today I'm waiting for a text....

Still no word from one poll....

    Day off today...

So I've done 2 loads of washing, a pile of ironing, hoovered the house, cleaned the bathroom and done the food shop... also cooked dinner for dd and friend and dinner for mum and I later.. don't you just love a day off...!!!!!

Have brought all the clothes already sorted for boot fair downstairs and set up my clothes rail and even ironed some of them.... that's as far as I got.. more tomorrow...

I also went to my old offices to try and catch up with my boss to discuss a few issues I would like resolving but we managed to miss each other so now have a meeting on monday afternoon..

Internet saga continues.. After no BT engineer made contact I rang AOL yesterday to be told, surprise surprise that it was I who was to contact BT,... The engineer made the call whilst in my house... anyhow the manager.. I'lll use the term loosly stated he could fix my internet right now.. and he did.. only problem is its still dropping out.... BT will charge £126.99 if an engineer calls and its not there problem.. can you see a theme here.. I guess that's why its better to have both bb and phoneline with the same compnay... Oh well I shall perserve and see if I can get to the bottom of it... meanwhile when it drops it connects to next doors still so at least we are still online...

No money news today, my lovely line manager signed off my overtime for this month so that should be another £80 for venice including my monthly stashed payrise.... Not sure how much i've got altogether now, but i'm sure it will be enough..!!!!

Posted on a thread last night about One Poll, others are having a similar problem.. I prefer it if i'm not alone.. so will just have to sit and wait it out... Not doing any more of the surveys until I've been paid mind...!!!! 40 days now.. so 12 late....

Tomorrow I shall do the saturday visit I've got and more house jobs plus more sorting for boot fair and if weather good may plant out some seeds.. I have lost one of my bean plants but that still leaves 23 and they all seem to be climbing well...

Hope everyone has a good weekend... I know your reading... come out and say hello......:D

Back tomorrow unless I win the euromillions of course.. we have 17 tickets through work and I have one of my own.. I know which I would prefer to win.. but I don't mind sharing....;)

Glad I took the time out yesterday to visit the dr, as today I feel fine and have nipped it in the bud with the antibiotics...

Beautiful day here, have dried my bedding in the garden, OH has mown the lawn at last.. and cleared all the scrap metal.. old trampoline/climbing frame, bike, scooter etc out.. It took all of 5 minutes for the metal men to descend and its all gone.. fab...
Have planted out my carrots, rocket and spring onions today.. Will need to buy some trough style plastic containers for the last 3 things to plant out.. so that will be done during my time off...

Two days at work this week, then off for 6.. lovely. :T

Ironed the majority of the clothes for the boot fair, now need to start sorting the other stuff.... and mine and dd's wardrobes.. another job for my days off... also need to get in the loft...

We were going out for a carvery tonight for stepson's birthday but when I rang they don't take bookings and so I asked what time was best.. they suggested not sunday...:rotfl: Suits me and dd, she is a very particular eater and wouldn't have been able to find much she liked, and I prefer being at home to going out.. so we are having a chinese takeaway later instead... OH wil pay..

Not sure how to stretch my pennies this week.. things to pay..

£13.50 to ww as missed last week, but still have to pay and will probably weigh a tonne after the chineses tonight...!!
£? Garden pots.. will buy cheap as possible..
Salad bits for next few days meals and other bits that sainsbugs didn't have when I shopped on Friday..
Out next saturday I think and its not a cheap place so was hoping to have some spends left from this week to cover it.....
How many days till payday??? About a fortnight I think....

Off to venice in a month so started a list of things to take.. not buy.. just take.. I shall be attempting to holiday without the need to buy any new stuff.. I hate spending money... :D

Its Friday for me today.. :j Lovely, looking forward to my 6 days off.. although I bet I do more in my time off than I do when I'm working....!! but don't tell the boss....!!!

One poll have said I will receive my payment tomorrow evening at the latest.. watch this space......

Tonight it is weightwatchers and I've calculated out that I've spent £25 to lose 3lb so far.... I also missed last week as I was working so if I go back I will have to pay £12.50 tonight.... although only till I get to 5lb from goal so should only be a few weeks.... But last year I lost 18lbs without ww, but did loads of walking, training for moonwalk so i'm sure that helped... if I could just get off my rear and get on my treadmill it would vanish quicker... not sure what to do.... to go and pay or go back to doing it myself for free.....I will have to make a decision by 5.30 today.......

DD has her last revision class this afternoon then she can finally enjoy some easter holidays.... we have no plans but she likes to chill at home so suits me..

I need to go and buy some pots for my remaining plants, need to sow my lettuce and the chive and chilli seedlings I've been cultivating... go me greenfingers...!

I also should be doing my cash & carry run for chicken breasts and toilet rolls but can't seem to get the pennies to stretch...... well not without using my bank account and I don't like to do that...!!!

Sun's out, washing is on the line and my work phone is quiet at the moment.... off to check my stepchange balances as I've had some statements in and want to make sure they tally....

Funny isn't it how times change, last year everything was paid by card / bank account without a thought. Now I hate to use the bank account (and I'm not to keen on parting with cash either LOL)

:j I found £20 I had forgotten about...... but then had to give it to DD for her cinema trip this evening..... always the way isn't it...!!

Also got my 2 troughs from b & q £4 each and treated myself to a cheeky red watercan for £3... my current one doesn't have a rose and I've been trying not to drown all my new babies....!!!!

Also picked up 4 naan bread and 2 onion bhaji's for 57p in my local sainsbobs.... not very slimming but hey.. a girl has to get some pleasures in life...

Will shortly be cooking Chicken Jalfrezi.. chicken meets jar... and will have naan and an onion bhaji with it.. but not till later as playing taxi at 8...

Didn't go to ww, so will be back to going it alone as I'm not paying 3 weeks worth next week....

What a beautiful sunny day here, I've been awake since 6.30 and had 2 cups of tea whilst browsing the diaries on here whilst lying in bed... lovely..

First lot of washing ready to go on the line so that's my first job of the day.....

Also planned.. - Do all available surveys including one poll (will they pay today?) ipsos, mysurvey and adpoints.....

Drop OH's suit to dry cleaners.

Go to chinese supermarket to buy curry paste... yum....

Cash in winning lottery ticket...:T Now don't get to excited and start writing me begging letters.. it's only £8.60.... but i'm happy with that..... also got £10 back from DD as cinema cheaper on a tuesday... so £18.60 up...:T

Plant out my seedlings and lettuce seeds...

Keep sorting stuff for boot fair.. maybe DD's cupboard if she's up for it...

    Well that's it for now..
    Catch you later..
