Quick post from me.. its still not friday.. boo.. but the sun's out.. yeah...
Have dd at home today completing last of some gcse coursework that has to be done by tomorrow so will leave the computer in her capable hands and gallop round doing some visits....
Did go out last night and do an overtime visit.. first one in the bag for Aprils pay.... hoping to manage 4.. but we shall see...!!!
One poll upto £5.30... still waiting for the last payout I asked for on the 2nd, but it usually takes 3 -4 weeks.. I just like to add it to my saving pots.... checked the bank, not a lot happening there and still 8 days till payday..
Still waiting to find out if OH is here or away next week.. does it make me a really bad person to say I hope he's away... saves on my grocery bill and putting up with his awful snoring... His latest new habit is to stop at the pub everynight before coming home for dinner..... He has suggested I come with him.. oh no, i'm trying to lose weight not gain it...!!!
Not food shopping today, hoping OH will come home with cash and a decision on next week, then I can meal plan and shop tomorrow..
Right off to unpack dishwasher, hang up some washing and chase dd around before I go out and get busy....

Very envious of the new euro millionaire as he lives in my old hometown.... it should have been me.... apart from the fact that I didn't have a ticket of course...
Hi Puzz,
I always think good luck to any winners not envious at all, it could be anybody next time. If you've a ticket of course
Stuck in a but of limboland here. Payday yesterday and it's all sat there waiting to goto Stepchange, but then it over a month from now till the creditors get any. So still chucking out £5 tokens as well.
Did you find it really slow to get going.
Enjoy your food shop .......... NOT, that has sort of become my weekly chore now because I only get what is on the list, and am not swayed by bargains we don't need. Personally I would do it all in Aldi and save a fortune, but as I live with 4 girls, they are so fussy it's beyond belief. Proper kitkats, Anchor butter, 1% Tesco milk because 2% aldi milk has too much fat  bonkers the lot of them.
Enjoy the weekend, sun is shining up North today0 -

Hi BB,
I too have one fussy dd who only likes certain brands of ketchup, skinny fries, mousse's etc.. so like you, I could happily shop in Lidl but would still have to do a trip to Tesco/Asda so although today I was planning on doing both, my list isn't very long so will just hit Tesco at lunchtime.. yawn...
We have sun too.. at the moment....Christmas 2020 £109

The day you need to send your gcse coursework to your school email is not the day you need to have connectivity issues with your bb provider.......
Neighbour to the rescue and managed to log into there bb and send all the coursework.. this was from 6.30 this morning.... what a start to the day.. the bb had been dropping out all yesterday late pm and evening so couldn't be sent then.... it is a regular problem so have gritted my teeth and rung the provider who are doing some tests and will call me later.. typically it comes back online whilst I'm speaking to them.... If I can access the neighbours wifi, then surely the problem is with my provider ie' rubbish signal.. may have to change, will see what they come back with later...
Busy day yesterday so taking it easy today, although I am on call this afternoon so will hope no emergencies come in....
And yeah its Friday..:T Could do with it being payday as feel a little poor this month.. still got some pounds in the bank but hate spending them...
Chinese with my girlfriends tomorrow evening so will need to purchase a few extra bottles of vino, just in case although they are pretty good at bringing what they want to consume....
5th payment to creditors will be going off in 4 days time.. yeah.. can't wait for next months statements so I can update if Creation have credited me with my refund.. wonder what my percentage will look like...
OH not going away for week.. boo.. but is for the weekend so I don't need to feed him Sunday evening.. As I buy yellow stickered food as and when I find it, we have a very healthy stock in the freezer so only need to buy the accompaniments.. veg/salad/potatoes etc.. plus dd's lunchstuff and household stuff.. oh and cat stuff.. I can see the bill creeping up...
Am off to clean the oven.... what a job......Christmas 2020 £109

Monday again.... boo....
Well the weekend came and went in a blur of sunshine and hailstones, quite bizarre... I looked like I had really bad dandruff when I walked into the supermarket..:rotfl:
Friday, lazy evening.. Saturday cleaned the house and played mum taxi and in the evening had my lovely friends round for a chinese takeaway.. they left just before 1am... so sunday I was a little tired and hungover.... but it was a good evening...
Money matters..
Down to my last £5 in the bank , nothing due to come out and i've left the 'at last' cashed up 20p's so £10 in there as well as a buffer just in case... also couldn't decide which saving pot to put it in...! Payslips out today and overtime paid.. yeah... but payday not till friday.. have got some cash in my purse so fingers crossed we can get to friday without having to dip into any saving pots....
Have been to the shops and used points and gift card for my toiletries I need, love shopping without using money..!
Had forgotten that my neighbours are having new windows put in this week and got home at lunchtime to find a huge van blocking my drive... I'm not parked up the road. very limited parking here.. and have told them that they can leave it outside today but for the rest of the week if my drive is empty they can park on it, then I can block them in.. not sure what OH's movements are this week, he's not back yet from his weekend jolly...
Mum taxi again tonight as last 'EVER' dance show.. so picking up at 3, then off out again at 5.45, collecting dd's friend on the way, then back to do it all again at 8.30..
Weigh in tomorrow evening, don't expect I will have lost anything as was a piggy over the weekend and my scales need a new battery but i'm too tight to buy one till after payday......it will be a surprise... either..or ... The quicker I get back to goal the better as I don't like paying £6.25 each week... keep your fingers crossed for me...
One poll still not paid, it will be 4 weeks next monday so I shall hassle them then... currently up to £5.90.. also doing a 2 week post survey for RM so will get another little £5 Love2shop voucher for my christmas stash... I am also saving my shopandscan rewards, currently up to £30.. which I usually use in amazon vouchers, may use these for dd's birthday or christmas....
And the whole world, except me appears to be going on holiday abroad this year... not fair.. stamps feet a little bit.. I am going to venice and we have the wedding away in August but that is only 2 days.... Still undecided about taking dd away I really don't want to find i'm short of money, I lke having my saving buffers.. I shall continue to ponder.....
Hope to do another overtime evening visit this week and maybe one or two next saturday.... As long as I've got 2 done by month end, anymore will be a bonus...
Our interenet was *rap over the weekend so did jump on and off the neighbours wifi... hope they didn't notice...!!! seems okay today.. famous last words..
Back tomorrow..Christmas 2020 £109

Mid week and its raining.. not a very inspiring day... got caught in a fire alarm evacuation this morning, followed by twice getting caught up in a police car chase.. 3 out of 4 of my visits were closed.. so al in all an unimpressive day......
Bank sitting at £3ish..... payday in 2 days and about £6 cash on me.. hopefully OH will pay me today or I can dip into my reserve tomorrow if I decide to do the main shop..
This week picked up some yellow stickered bits, as I like to keep my chest freezer topped up and then menu plan each week from what is in there. I got 3 organic small loaves for £1.05 and 2 small crustless quiches for £1.50.. also 14 bags of walkers.. not for me... on offer at £2...
I shall list the contents of my freezer on here when I get a chance, I save a fortune buying nearly all my meat/main part of dinner from the reduced aisles and as i'm round the shops everyday I seem to be quite lucky.... although I do bulk buy my chicken breast from the cash & carry....
Drumroll please.. lost another 1lb this week so 2 1/2 off and 7 to go... although I may only have to pay until I have 5 left so that will be a result.. also got OH to buy new batteries for the scales.. very mse....:money:
Fifth payment gone to creditors.. statement from dmp showing just above 58k.. will drop well under once I amend it after creation's statement is out.. and then we shall be hitting the 57k's.. quite awesome.... I love seeing the figures going down...:T
And my plants are sprouting.. or whatever the technical term is.. all 3 types I planted indoors are popping up..:T
So a good week so far.. no overtime done, but one of todays visits only opens on a saturday daytime so I will aim for that this weekend and hope to manage another evening one if I can summon up the energy to go out in the dark/rain one evening....
Onwards and upwards.. soon be Friday..

Still not friday.. have been umming and aahhing all day about taking tomorrow off as its the last day of the flexi period and I have 2 days to take/roll over and don't need any until I go to venice in May... But decided I may take one during April, even though I have a week's leave booked already... Will just have a gentle day tomorrow and get the house clean for my visitors over the weekend..
Tomorrow night I have an ex work mate (well just mate now..) coming to stay for a girlie catch up.. and sunday mothers day, I have invited my mum to dinner.. very mse again..:money: as I have a chicken in the freezer and will do a roast with cauliflower & broccoli cheese and new potatoes... Have just done the food shop, got given a £9 off £60 spend courtesy of Mr T's this week still managed to spend £73 mind..!!!
Still got the neighbours big window van outside, on my drive... do hope they finish soon seems to be taking forever and its not like we have big houses...!
Payday tomorrow.. :T and will hope that April is a less spendy month as I don't appear to have a lot of surplus this month.... never mind, accounts in credit, all bills paid so haven't really got anything to moan about...
Have 2 overtime visits to do on saturday and could do the evening one on monday if I feel enthusiastic...!!
Roll on tomorrow at 4pm....Christmas 2020 £109
