    Well what can i say...

Yesterday was a complete write off... all self inflicted.. whoever thought it was a good idea to consume 4.. yes 4 bottles of wine friday nite.. into saturday morning... its a good job I don't have this friend round to often... I went back to bed at lunchtime, was good for nothing so my visits didn't get done.... oh well I will try to do them next saturday so will still get paid the overtime before I go off to venice in May...

My house appear to have forgotten its mothers day... although my neighbour just wished me happy mothers day so that's ok then.... I am cooking for my mum later...

Have spent 50 minutes on the phone with the internet provider getting my new router set up and we are now back and online, on our own wifi instead of the neighbours...!

Next door window saga continues, what was 3 day job has turned into 7 and they will be back tuesday/wednesday to try and finish it.. so more van dodging for me...

Have moved all my pennies into the appropriate savings accounts and thought I would document the totals as of today.. its so nice to see savings, even though most will deplete during the year...

    So as of 30th March..

Girls weekend saving - £460 (only half of this is mine..)
    Wedding - £130.. but £40 due
    Venice - £211 + 58 euro's..
    Car - £235
    Birthdays - £81.75
    Driving Lessons - £51
    Christmas - £181
    Emergency - £340
Cape Verde... This for when i'm debt free...- £10
School/Teen/Prom/Holiday... etc - £380 this will be depleted rapidly over the next week or two...

So quite pleased with how the savings are going...

On top of my dmp I'm also paying back an interest free loan to my mum, which was £10000, and now stands at £6200... this will be gone October 2016, but I'd like to clear it earlier if possible as that will also be the year of all change for DD and my be needed for uni help etc..... Luckily some of the current saving pots won't be continued once spent so I can redirect to others..

So off to do the mothers day Ironing... followed by a trip to town for a few bits and then home to cook.....

Hope all you mothers out there have a nice day..

    Puzz. x

I'm feeling all out of sorts today, not sure why.. apart from of course its monday....

The dreaded window men are back... I thought I was safe today...

My internet is driving me bonkers and having run up the national debt speaking to my provider over the last month I'm loathed to call them again.. Particularly as this morning I rang them for my MAC code.. I've had enough now and I'm going to bite the bullet and get bt infinity fibre optic.. expensive yes, but when you work from home and have a teen who is always on the internet as well its becoming a necessity... Unfortunately it won't be until the end of the month so I will be bouncing on and off the neighbours internet until then.. hope they have unlimited usage..!!!

Felt most unappreciated yesterday, completely normal day for me, OH didn't organise DD to buy me a card or anything.. she did make me one in the afternoon after my mini meltdown.... All I wanted was a card and a bit of thought.. never mind, there's always next year....

No plans this week... weigh day tomorrow, I'm hoping to have lost something as was quite good over the weekend if you ignore the alcohol.......

On a course on Thursday, I hate courses, waste of a day and I won't remember any of it 24 hours later.....

Have just spent £13.50 on coloured ink for the printer, poor DD has been asking and asking and I keep getting her to do her printing at school... I think that's very mse :money:as she doesn't have to pay for it.. Oh well got some now....

    Roll on Friday........

Also been invited back onto the RM postal panel, doesn't pay other than in stamps but then I can sell them or use them anddoesn't take long to do each day..

    Hi RR,
Thanks for popping in.. I have seen you around on other diaries and I know you have your own which I also try to keep up with... If your anything like me you have a long list of subscribed threads, I do try to read them all and keep up with the diaries but don't post very often on them.

On the upside its now Tuesday which means :D and even more for you as I imagine you are breaking up from work for the holidays shortly....

Tuesday.. :D Only 3 days till the weekend.....

Got so fed up when I came back from the office today with my internet still not working that I decided to ring AOL one more time... started with the usual what's the problem etc.. Now in this day and age you can't tell me that they don't document each call against the account so why do I need to keep telling them the same thing??? So I didn't I asked to speak to a supervisor and got the faults manager.. who give him his due didn't waste time and keep me hanging on the line but went off to investigate and rang me back... Offered to pay all charges for an engineer to call, but I decided I wanted one more go at trying to fix it internally as I'm sure its just not set up right....

Well I'm going to tempt fate now... as its been up and running for an hour and half without dropping out..... I still have an engineer booked for sat am, but would rather not have to entertain AOL if I don't have to.... Only downside is my laptop will not recognise the internet, PC and kindle fine... so will have to do my own investigations into that one....
Will keep the engineer visit booked until Thursday and see how we go.. also if it does work well do I go ahead with the BT change.. One thing in favour of AOL its very cheap....decisons decisions...

Not so bothered about the the course on Thursday now as my mate is coming and we can sit at the back and giggle..... although would still rather be out and about actually doing my job rather than talking about it...!!!

Possible postive on overtime.. there may still be a little available.. just waiting for confirmation.....

Weigh in tonight.. will report back with :D or  tomorrow...
Still waiting for one poll payment.....

Hi Puzz, AOL aren't the best ISP out there though, I can't recommend Plusnet enough and I'm sure they will be cheaper than AOL too.

My dad sticks with AOL because he is "attached" to his email address. 74 years old though and just can't think about changing. So pays £20+ a month for something I could setup for him for under a tenner as he barely uses it.
