Hi Puzz, well this Sat is my final sort out day for all the dmp stuff. Will be speaking to SC about the start date on Sat then getting some more letters sent out - I might bite the bullet and phone them all as well. Was waiting for my first wage to be paid into my new account which has gone in this week yay!! So all sorted and feel like I'm ready to go now. No hiccups fingers crossed!
My trip away is not for any special occasion, just something my parents have planned and are being v sercretive about!! They have come into a bit of money this year so wanted to treat us all - looking forward to whatever it is!! My Mum has the same attitude as yours and for the same reasons too - things like that certainly make you re- assess whats important in life, whats worth stressing about and what isn't! Another reason to crack on with the DMP journey i think!!
Due to my hopeless money situation for the past however long I haven't budgeted for Christmas v well - just realised I can't afford to do my Christmas shop till after the 17th Dec eek!! Ha ha at least I enjoy the Christmas spirit so will have to have a vvvvvv focused day visit to the shops!! Hopefully some good bargains to be had that near Christmas?? You sound v orgnised!

hello.. been awol for a few days...
Zepsgal, hope you have hit that £40 target now....!! I am finding I am screened out of a lot of surveys at the moment they obviously don't want to give me any more of there money...:)
Schmalf, Good luck with sorting your start date with SC, do let me know how you get on, I'm sure all will be fine... You seem to be living in a parallel universe to me.. maybe we are twins...:rotfl:
A big part of getting myself sorted with debts other than I couldn't afford to keep paying them was my mother's health. The last thing I wish to be doing should she flutter off as an angel one day is using her hard earned money to pay my stoopid debts off... of course at the current rate we are spending her's there won't be any left anyway..:rotfl:
On that note we have booked venice... No change from £1000  But the hotel looks lovely and she wanted a landing stage so we could water taxi in from the airport, and a nice room, and a canal view.. should I go on... the only economy part of the trip is flying easyjet... So that will be something lovely to look forwards to in the spring...
Can't believe its friday already, the week has flown past... Nothing exciting to report money wise... bank still ok and payday next week.. :T
Up to £22.05 on one poll....
Weekend plans, a bit of socialising with my neighbours tonight and tomorrow.... and domestic goddess duties tomorrow.... and christmas shopping sunday... that will cover it...!!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. xxChristmas 2020 £109

Forgot to add my bargain of the day.. our little co-op has just been refurbished and they sent me some vouchers.. so kind.. so popped in this morning first thing and picked up my free cake! 2 nice rump steaks (put in freezer for christmas eve), 2 b & j ice cream pots for dd and some christmas snacks... cost £13.99 I paid £6.49...:D
Also got a letter in response from creation as I wrote complaining about the 0.72% interest they wish to charge me. They are just acknowledgin my complaint and will look into it.... watch this space....Christmas 2020 £109

Another weekend has flown by... and monday again... Today is the first day my payment goes to my creditors...:T
The bad news... went to get dd's lunch roll out the freezer this morning and some bread I put in there yesterday was still not frozen.. Now my freezer is full to bursting as you know with my love of anything yellow stickered.. not to mention my 2 lovely rump steaks I bought on friday... panic.... So I trotted down to the electical charity shop after the school run.. but no, only one tiny freezer for £80:eek: So I bit the bullet and ordered a chest freezer for next day delivery from currys.. £155... so my first emergency.. paid for in cash from the emergency fund... As soon as the order was placed I realised the freezer was making a noise... everything in there is still frozen except the bits from yesterday.. so not sure what is going on..
I did want a chest freezer but it was a want not a need at the time.. I guess it became a need.. don't know where i'm going to put it mind...:rotfl:
Did a little more christmas shopping yesterday, nearly spent all my vouchers now but all going to budget which is good..
And last night I even wrapped some....
Now off out to do some work as I have had to take tomorrow off for my delivery....Christmas 2020 £109

Thursday already.. doesn't time fly when your having fun....
Well I now have 2 working freezers.... Bit cross that I paid out £155 from the emergency fund but I did want a chest freezer so I guess its not all bad, and I will be able to shop reduced food to my hearts content instead of knowing I have no space.. I now have loads of roomI have worked out that we don't pay water rates for the next 4 months so that can rebuild the E.fund and hopefully won't have to pay out for anything else....
So Payday today..:T Ended the month with just over £50 left in current account, still can't get used to not seeing a huge overdraft staring at me... Creditors all very quiet, they should have all had the payment so will now wait for the statements then I can assess who is and who isn't charging me interest...
Having bought a lovely expensive dressing gown for my OH's christmas present at 25% off on Sunday I then found it online at 50% off so have ordered it to collect from store next week and will return the other one.. so £15 up... :T
Only a few costly presents left to get then its just santa's stuff and dd's friends gifts to get.. I'm hoping to leave £100 to get some nice food/drink in for the festives.. Won't need chrismas dinner as that is at my brothers but not sure which part of it i'm paying for yet...
One poll very slow at the minute only upto £22.30... Have reached payout on Ipsos and that will be the start of next years voucher collection.. Also received another £5 Love 2 Shop voucher from RM, but am now on a 6 month break from them so no more vouchers for awhile..
Can't believe I managed to save up over £200 vouchers this year... and that didn't include those I get from Shop and Scan as I used them this year through the year.. think I wil save those as well next year. Its about £80 worth a year.
Will aim for £250 next year...
I did put a few things on Ebay this week and am up to £21ish on thoses so that will be going to the wedding fund...
No other news, OH home next week so increased domestic goddess duties, but at least I can do some proper cooking, its not the same for just me, and dd doesn't like my food....
Right off to do some work.. xxChristmas 2020 £109

gosh I've been awol for ages..... time certainly flies at this time of year..
so update...
I emailed my details to a research company who were looking for people to discuss dmp's... They then rang me and I've been picked for an interview next week.. Two good things about this..
1. I've never spoken to anyone about my debts so it will be I hope a bit theraputic...
2. They pay me £100.....:T
I know its the real deal because others on here have already had interviews...
OH now home again and will be back to work tomorrow, need to get him earning again if we are going to stay balanced...
Statements starting to come in for the month after my first dmp payment.. Halifaxx, Barclays, RBS and M &S = no charges or interest...:D Creation I already knew were planning on charging and so there payment went down a whooping £4.. but I have already written to them and they are investigating my complaint... so just natwest x 3 and capital one to come.. fingers crossed.... the overall debt has risen due to the charges and interest thrown on whilst setting up the dmp, but I was expecting that this month and am looking forwards to the next round of statements when it should hopefully start to fall..Now the season is really upon us I can use these as much as I like....
... all the big chrimbo presents bought, just a few little one's left to get. Still hoping to hold onto some pennies for extra christmas food and drink.. currently got £75 left in the account and £55 cash and £20 voucher left to spend in my christmas envelope.. get me, I have a christmas envelope, bet no-one else does..:rotfl:
I have already purchased my gammon/ham, piccalli (sp?) only I eat that with turkey sandwiches.. and a bottle of fizz.. I also picked up 5 packs of party nibbles today as Iceland were doing a half price day on these items....
Got a night to myself, dd on a sleepover and OH out.. (as per..) so a bit of girly tv, some wine and a nice dinner is in order.. Hope all well in the world of anyone reading my mad ramblings...

I'll start with a grrr... and remembered why I hate ebay.... got a case opened against me for the non arrival of an item.. well why couldn't the person just send me a message? I've never disputed any cases and it annoys the wotsits out of me that they can't just ask the damn question through my messages rather than starting a case. the cynic (sp?) in me thinks they have received the item as why wait? and also I had marked it as sent on the day I sent it, yet they asked had I posted it yet and tracking details when I offered free first class posting..
Oh well it didn't cost me anything, it was a free item sent in a recycled envelope with a free stamp...
Back to me... Natwest statement in 0% and no interest.. lovely thank you natty..:T
All my debts have jumped up due to the hammering of charges/late payment fees and interest whilst setting up the dmp, but I was expecting it so probably looking at a 2% increase over all... all downwards from the next payment..:D
Christmas shopping nearly sorted, good job as I've nearly spent all the money...! and another wedding.. but i'll leave that one for now...!!!! Have got £150 left and would like to carry dec's £50 over to 2014.... so £100... and i'm buying half a turkey... we shall see how it goes.....
Happy monday all, glad its finished...Christmas 2020 £109

Hey Puzz
Hows it all going?
I also had an ebayer raise a case about delivery without even messaging me! really annoys me when they do that... and I've got one that one has opened because the necklace i sent is supposedly broken in the post but they havent replied to my response in 2 weeks and they took over two weeks to message saying it was broken so i have a feeling they are trying to blag a refund...
Ive had better months.. gone a bit crazy due to xmas on the CC... hoping that i can make this back even if its slowly... Really still aiming to be debt free by Dec 2014 but think its going to be struggle so may need you bullying me about Onepoll lol

Hi Rags.. have posted over on your diary.....
Well its monday again and I have 15 minutes before I have to go out in the rain..why does it always rain when I need to be outside for some of the day.....
On the upside its the last monday for awhile as I'm off for 9 days from friday and can't wait.....Shopping all done I think, one more item possible for dd but that should only be about £12.. I did go into town yesterday and decided everyone had enough so gave £10 as a christmas gift to the Big Issue Seller... hoping good karma and what goes around comes around...:D
So I have £45 left and another £50 to come from Dec's wages that pop up early.. I am hoping to put that towards next christmas.. The £45 will get eaten up by dd's last presie and my half of the turkey...!!
The bank account is looking okay.. received £100 for doing that financial interview last week, which I thoroughly enjoyed and would have done it for nothing...! However money is good and it has gone in the account as a buffer... I have moved this months water payment into my emergency fund as I don't pay again until April..
Have refunded silly ebay buyer.. they never made any contact with me.. it does put you off doing it...
And another wedding this one is in 2 weeks time... Now I love a wedding but don't have a wardrobe that is full of beautiful clothes.... I did buy a new top and decided I would just wear trousers and boots, but then could not justify £35 on a top that wasn't that great so have returned it.... I have begged a couple of friends to raid there wardrobes and now have a selection of items to try on.. hopefully one of them fits the bill... I really don't like spending money....:rotfl:
Right better get off here and go and do some work in the rain.. have a good week and i'll pop back soon.
